I keep falling asleep during this Jazz/Spurs game. The Spurs are worse than watching wet paint dry and the Jazz are barely more interesting

Most championship teams are like this. Pistons, Bulls, Spurs, Rockets, even the Lakers besides an occasional Kobe highlite. These teams win by substance substance substance. Hopefully Isiah realizes this.

This wasn't the case back in the day. The old Sixers, Lakers, Celtics etc. were very exciting. Before the Detroit Pistons won and the league made the switch to defensive oriented teams. Also part of the problem is the matchups. Some teams just aren't as compelling to watch.

I barely watched any of this game I saw maybe 6 possessions worth. Awful product to watch it just simply is right now.

I agree. My girlfriend and I were both tuned in for a bit and we both fell asleep also. Most boring matchup of the year.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

caz the game is way too tame.

let the players clobber eachother, atleast it'd be entertaining instead of predictable.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

This brand of basketball is what will defeat AND 1 basketball teams because most of the kids that come into the nba nowadays haven't been taught this style.

All they know is make ESPN highlites while your young to be able to earn big money with your 2nd contract.... who cares about winning until they get older.

Jeffries just got back from a 3 week fishing trip and Steph and Latisha are off to europe without the kids!

I think Balkman and Lee (and Marbury when he's driving and attacking) are more exciting than what I saw yesterday. The team sucks and loses but it does so with flash!

Watching Francis and Nay nate is like watching Bevis and Butthead rather than an award winning documentry on the migratory pattern of extinct birds.

Bevis and Buthead might be more fun and there are times to dumb it down, but you don't go off bragging on it! At a social for new hires in the fall your not gonna pull the shirt over your head and yell "I need TP for my bunghole" are you? No, your gonna talk smart.

Get outside, its spring time. Who cares about the spurs-jazz game one on a sunday? It was boring before you even turned it on!

Nba is kinda boring right now. I think it might be time to pick up a drug habit or something to kill the time until the off-season officially starts.

My friends said the same thing about the Knicks Rockets series in 94 (I think the country had similar views as my friends). Those Knicks were brutual to watch so I can only imagine if I wasn't a Knick fan, I wouldn't want to watch them play. The Spurs actually play more up tempo than those Knicks (no wonder Stern hated them so). My friends were Jordan fans so I kinda guessing it depends on your rooting interest. I like the NBA, so I am watching no matter what. Jim Rome had the best lines about those Knicks ("I rather watch water drip than Anthony Mason post up somebody"). 'Rome is Burning' was funny.

Classic indeed. The best part besides Everett manhandling Rome was the producer who put "don't call me chris, ok!" at the bottom of the screen while he is attacking Rome. Classic indeed. I watched ESPN2 more than ESPN thanks to Rome is Burning and the Suzy Kolber show.
