If he hasn't noticed the tempo is a little faster in the big apple. Therefore Scottie boy should act decesively in scooping up the other Jackson. Houston already burned us by not sending us "The Dream." Don't let them do it again! Offer the Golden boy's MJ the $2.8 exception n see if he bites. If not work out a deal for him. Ward n 2 2nd rd picx. I'd even deal a 1st for him.

Here's why:

1. He would strengthen a weak position we have
2. When is the last time we had a 1st rd. pick?
3. How bout the last time we kept one?
4. Who is the last 1st rd. pick of the Knicks that made a major impact? (no its not Charlie)
5. If we can somehow deal Charlie we can solve 2 problems (backup center n our glut at point guard)
6. We are always good enough that we end up w/ a late 1st rd. pick that will struggle to make the squad
7. Finally he's not another 6"7 small forward (tweener)
Come strong or not at all!

...not to mention we have been stock piling assets.

Take your pick
1. Ward or Jackson
2. Wright or Chenworth seem to be longshots to make the team
3. Burrell
4. Harrington a solid backup
5. possibly Thomas (has he reached his potential)
6. Houston is replaceable but hardly tradeable
7. Postell could be shipped out
8. LJ: although we'd like to send him into early retirement is going no where

No one except Spree n Camby should be untouchable

Let's hope Lame-den doesn't fall asleep behind the wheel or count his chickens before his eggs have hatched.

Bottom line is we have too many average players n need another impact player to crash the boards n log some minutes at the 5.
Come strong or not at all!

With Jackson, Camby, and Thomas rotating at the power forward and center, we will be set there for years to come. Another question is whose going to start between Thomas and Jackson?

Simple Answer, Camby starts at Center, Thomas at PF. When MarcJ comes in, he does so at Center, Camby slides to PF. Thomas Sits. When Camby's out, Thomas is at PF, Marc at Center.

Sounds good to me, but it looks like Houston is going to get Marc (see ESPN).
We suck.
