Nice mix bigsmooth, that dunk on Devin Harris was STUPID!
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Posted by BigSm00th: Definately would sport one of those! I can't find them right yet, but I'll have to keep looking for some Balkman vs. Raps highlights. (Pretty great on the college video to see 2 consecutive blocks by Balkman, followed by the Lee jam.) |

Those two are the future of the team, IMHO the bright spots. I wonder if Lee is a starter next season and if Balkman gets anywhere to close to 30 mpg as you said. We shall see.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

OH MAN! That was fun! I love watching those two. Can you imagine if we added a Sean Williams to that group, how crazy that would be? WOOOOOOOO! If Isiah could somehow get another pick and take that kid it would be a great move. You can never have enough High Energy guys like that. It's gonna be a LOOOOOONG Summer.

Posted by Solace:Agreed. They're the only two players on this roster I'd prefer to have over a mid 1st round pick. |

One or both will look good in a Pacer uniform next year.

Posted by Nalod: Perhaps one, but not both. If that did happen we'd be at least getting quality in return. I think most of us PREFER to keep our guys and let them grow, but I can certainly understand the logic of trading them and trying to get a better player. What is your point anyway? |

If they can develop decent jumpshots, they would compliment Curry perfectly. The can both pass and finish after receiving a pass. They both rebound at an above-average rate. Balkman is a shot-blocker and defender, and Lee can score in the post to take some of the pressure off of Curry from being to sole lowpost scorer. The only thing missing is a shutdown defender and shot-blocker in the post, but I think that Lee can become a good defender after he adds strength to deal with opposing PFs.
I agree. A shot-blocker like Sean Williams would be good for this team. But we also need a SG that can guard the position and hit threes. We need an extra 1st round pick. The Bobcats might have interested in Nate if Brevin Knight does not come back. They need scoring and a backup PG. Nate is not really a PG, but he can score and the Bobcats might be willing to take a chance that he can develop enough PG skills to spell Felton for 10-15 minutes a game. Trust the Process

Posted by TheGame: Yeah this is the kind of draft that you want a couple of picks. Still I think Isiah might feel we have a good chance to get JO and he brings much of what we need inside. He may feel we have enough youth right now and too much wouldn't help. It's gonna be interesting to see how Balk and Lee develop. I really hope we keep them, cuz I love the idea of developing our own players. These guys are knicks thru and thru. |

Knick - Lee - Balk + JO...
Do I want to watch the team? Unlikely. Eddy + JO will be boring group - one looks another posting up. Dynamics = 0 "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." Hamlet
