On this past Tuesday May 15 I got unexpected treat meeting Clyde Frazier in NJ.
It was a dream day afternoon during my job company meeting conference just
shaking Clyde's hand for the 2 NBA titles he helped Knicks win.

Got my #10 Jersey signed and also my knick books it was a fun day! Walt even stayed for a while to dine and mingle. Those who attended even got classic knick autographs signed pictures. There were other nice folks in attendance & enjoyed the speakers presentations.

Frazier spoke in depth of kids future his background upbringing days of the knicks & teammate tales and also on motivation and being team oriented for life success. He even spoke about Willis, Monroe, Holzman and Phil Jackson whom Clyde
says Jackson was outgoing party and drinking type back in his Knick days. That
was a contrast to how Frazier was.

Anyhow meeting Frazier I was like a little kid at the store. What more can one say and ask for ? Clyde's a great guy and human being.

Kudos Walt Frazier and I'll never ever forget it. NEVER!

Phil has openly talked about his mind altering days in NYC. The dude was great!

Clyde is my childhood idol. Today perhaps Steve Nash best comes close. Clyde would never let anyone see if they were getting under his skin. Never boast after a good play, never show pain, never show frustration. Be a cool quiet assasin and lead by example.

I remember reading his book many moons ago and would laugh that he would not have sex the day of a game. Back then these guys did not have 20,000 sq foot amusment park homes with every amenitie available. These guys lived basketball and tended to business and life. They were more integrated in the community.

Most important they were heroes because of what they did on the court. Clyde has the first sneaker deal. He was the first with his own shoe! Suede Puma Clydes! Classy shoe from a classy player!
