The Johnnies baby. Norm Roberts inked a class ranked 16th by ESPN.com:

"Coach Norm Roberts has a superb class headed by prep school ace, 6-8 PF Justin Burrell, 6-5 G/F D.J. Kennedy and 5-9 PG Malik Boothe."

I know Malik played at Christ the King. Anyone know anything about the other guys?

I haven't really read anything on these guys but it would be nice to see a much more competitive St Johns team. The last time I watched them play a significant game was in 2000 against Gonzaga--remember that game--that was a good St John's team.
Uconn has stepped it up and is possibly looking at bringing in 3 top 10 players for 2008 including Brandon Jennings. I have a feeling next year that Uconn will surprise a LOT of teams. Uconn had the number 1 rated tean defense last year[you would think that would make them a shoe in to be good right??] It will be the same team -a couple of parts + adding a nice left-handed shooter. Thabeet should be much much better--and if you look at the league--all of the big men are gone and we have a host of burgeoning skill players who are 6-9. I think if we come back strong--we add a sniper from 3 ball--our imposing size and defense--with added outside shooting and ball movement should get us back to the top level quite dramtaically.
