Maybe we should trade Frye to the Suns for the 24 and 29 picks in the draft

I like Frye and think that he will be a good player, but this team needs several players and there are some good ones out there in the draft. I think the Suns would trade their later 1st round picks if they get Atlanta's pick.

With three picks we could get a SG, PG, and PF to help fill in the holes of this team.

It is risky because, unlike others, I think Fyre, in the right system, can be a very good player. He has a good work ethic and a nice shot, but we already have low post scoring in Curry and we need a solid rebounder/defender next to Curry. It is doubtful Fyre is ever going to be more than average in those two areas.
Trust the Process

Not bad, if the Suns think Frye fits their system. I'm not sure. They're quick to get rid of guys who don't fit, so unless they're high on Frye right now who knows. They also don't keep their own picks for cap reasons so they may be all for trading two picks to condense into one player.

Not a bad suggestion... and about as high as we could reasonably expect to get in return for Frye.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I like it from our end but I really don't think Frye has anything to offer that Diaw and Kurt really can't give them, Kurt is lethal with the pick and pop and a much better defender (albeit older) and Diaw is much more versatile all around at a slightly smaller size than Channing.

he fits in but he'd never crack that D'Antoni 9 man rotation. that man's rotation gets smaller and smaller every year. eventually it will just be Nash, Amare and Marion!
^precocious neophyte.

I proposed Malik+N8 to PHX on another board. Malik can actually play defense against TimmyD and frustrate him. And N8 gives them another speedy PG.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

That I can't see. Why would they want another PG who is clearly inferior to the ones they have?

In addition to the ones they already have. N8 fits their tempo. He can push it and hit the three. All the pundits lauded the N8 pick by the SUNS two years ago.

Sure. But that was before Barbosa became the player he did. I just don't see where there'd be room in the rotation for Nate, unless they're trading Barbosa. He's not getting minutes over the guys who currently play.

There wouldn't be room for Frye, Malik or their #1 picks either

Probably not, but there's a better shot of Frye getting minutes.

But frankly, you're right. I don't see Phoenix trading unless they have injuries.
