bulls are just too young and just not good enough to get past the pistons.

All it proves is veteran teams still rules when big money is on the line.

Young players are in awe of the competivness of the playoffs against seasoned vets.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I just think it is a bad match for the Bulls. The Bulls did not need experience to beat the Heat. The Bulls main players are getting shut down by the Pistons main players.

Look at the Heat series you had no one on the Heat that matchups with Deng but with the Pistons you have Prince.

And look at Wade. He is about the same height has Gordon so Gordon is still able to score. Now with the Pistons you have Rip who is about 6'7 which is a big difference.

The NBA is about matchups

bigC said it: against Miami Deng had free reign. Tayshaun Prince is all over him now, plus the rest of the team's help D is good incase he gets beat. AND... they make him work on the other end. same with Gordon

I'd rather be getting spanked in 2nd by pistons and have bulls future than sitting home like Knicks

It's a sad day when the most exciting playoff moment of the decade for Knicks' fans involves watching another team.

Pistons are everything Knicks organization doesn’t want Knicks to be.
Boring winning machine. Guys who played plain simple winning ball living highlights to the losers to have some share of fan
Not like they cannot be exited but they have enough disciple to put winning in front of everything.
And they have big heart and playing hard is the way they understand the game
To me it is everything I want Knicks to be. I guess I am retarded…

Is this really true? Isiah brought in what would be considered BORING picks in guys like Lee, Balkman and Collins. Also Frye and Morris aren't highlight reel players. If Isiah was looking to really do that he woud've drated a guy like Gerald Green. Instead the only guy like that he's drafted has been Nate. Of course the entertainment value is really about winning. I believe Isiah knows this. He's focused the team not on running up and down, but on posting up and halfcourt offense. They run only when it presents itself. From everything he's done you can see that he wants to put together what would be considered a traditional BB team and not the new trend of small and quick teams we see. This team played hard all the way to the end of the season. They may not have always done the right thing and they make a lot of mistakes, but Isiah has them playing hard. FOr the most part the guys he's brought in have shown themselves to be hard workers. So I don't really believe that we're headed in the wrong direction with this team. We pound teams on the boards and on offense we draw a ton of fouls. IF you can get past the dislike for some of the bad moves and really look at the future of this team there are good signs everywhere.

I expected that the Bulls would have trouble with the Pistons. They are too perimeter oriented. This makes them easy to defend. Miami was a good matchup for them this year, since the Heat are old and slow and Wade wasn't 100%. Detroit is a really bad matchup for them, due to their experience, size and overall talent at every position. To me the Bulls and Tor are good in season teams and NOT yet good playoff teams. They aren't diverse enough and they don't have any real advantages that can stretch a good defense. They both have small guards. Both teams will have to go after a BIG who can post up, in the FA market or via Trade.

Prediction: After the NBA Finals, someone on this board will say that they'd rather be in the Knicks situation than be the loser of the Finals.

Mark it down.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

The cornerstones of the new Knick "new building" are "Easy Dunk" Eddy, "Crossover magician crazy shot" Jamal, "Drive to death to the hole" Stephan, and "see how I can" Steve. Nate is another brilliant in the dust.
If you will tell that Bulk and Lee are not exiting players nobody will believe you.
This team is build to have fun and payers are given their joy back.
Tell IT that nobody buying this bull in NY... But I guess he know this pretty well already.
