If we are so set on JO or Garnett, what would make more sense with this team?

Curry would dissapear with a dominant guy liek JO or Garnett on the other block, David Lee would make them better and compliment them with hard work and rebounding/putbacks.

Sam Smith of Chicago Sports Reports:

"Option B(for the lakers) is said to be Indiana's Jermaine O'Neal. But sources say O'Neal already has told the Pacers he wants to be traded to the Knicks and former Pacers coach and close friend Isiah Thomas. Would the Pacers take Stephon Marbury or maybe a package with Steve Francis, Jared Jeffries and Channing Frye and the Bulls' first-round pick, which the Knicks own in the swap?"

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Trade Curry not Lee for him!!!!! A frontline of Curry/Oneal makes no sense!

Think about it this is not NBA Live

Unless you want to turn JO into a defensive stopper/spot up shooter

I don't think we should give up Lee in any trade. The guy is special, perhaps the most special player we've had in a while. And, it hasn't taken years to find it out.
Don't risk the present and the future by trading him.

Give up Frye. Jermain O. wants to be here, don't give up a potential all star for a few years of rental.
I'd sooner go for a Camby rental, but again, not for Lee.

You always get rid of the lazy player before getting rid of the hard working more versatile player.

Dolan is businessman. May be bad businessman but he is
He will never trade a player which increasing the ticket sales and can bring endorsements and commercial for MSG business
Lee is this player at a moment
We all know that bbal considerations are not the major factor for Knicks lately

i'm with you man. think about it, curry gives us absolutely nothing when we aren't force-feeding him the ball. whatever, that can work for your team. but not if we have another frontcourt player who puts up 20 a game - then eddy spends too much time on the court as a waste of space.

frontcourt help, yes. but guys like o'neal are paid max money for offensive production. we would get as good impact and equal bang four our buck with a role player next to e-city.

Who sold more jerseys last year: Lee or Curry? I'm not sure but I'd be curious to find out.

I'm all for trading Curry- his value will probably never be higher unless he learns to rebound and block shots- not holding my breathe.

trade Curry+Frye+Francis for Oneal + Junk now seriously that is not a bad deal for Indiana something they could consider and something that could improve our team big time.

Oneal
Lee
Q Rich
Jamal

Yeah, that's why I highly doubt the Knicks would turn down a deal involving Lee or Curry for JO (and I'm sure Indiana would rather have Lee if you look at his salary and better versatility)

Lee is NOT I repeat NOT an All Star He is a very good role player, if you can trade a role player to get an All star you do it.

So you'd trade Lee for Shaq or Ray Allen?

Apples & Oranges Shaq is way older the JO and Allen is not a rebounder along side Curry.

I wonder if JO is ever going to be an all star again.

Sports is about what can you do for me today, this game. Now, what did you do in your career.

JO= Has Been.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Lee on an All Star squad. He might not get voted there, but he might get picked by the coaches.

For what hustling??? Until DLee gets a mid range J he will never be a All star no matter what corporate america wants.
