Evans: Garnett 'Wants Out Of That Situation' 4th May, 2007 - 12:33 pm Orange County Register -
Lakers forward Maurice Evans calls Kevin Garnett "one of my best friends in the league."
Evans said that Garnett's time in Minnesota might be coming to an end.
"I know he definitely wants out of that situation, deservedly so," Evans said Thursday.
"He's given his heart and soul to that (Minnesota) organization," Evans added. "And whether it be here or Minnesota or wherever, I hope for and wish him the best in his future."
Evans spent his rookie year with Garnett in Minnesota and said: "I would love to play with Kevin. He's obviously a great player and very unselfish and passes. He's so unselfish almost to a fault, so I would love to benefit from some of his overly unselfish passes. But who knows?"

yea remember his famous quote... "Thank God for the opt out." KG will be in a new uniform next season. mchale better thank his lucky stars that KG was loyal enough to stay even this long, well into the later part of his prime years imo.

He wanted Hudson and Hassell to be resigned and he wanted the most money in the league, McChale is a terrible gm, but some blame has to be put on the players....
Vince Carter wanted Alvin and Jerome Williams signed, and Antonio Davis, and then stopped playing because things didn't work out
Kobe wants Shaq gone, now he needs more help.......
Live with the 17 million a year your making

And a good GM would have traded him to the bulls last offseason, they would have traded, deng, chandler and a draft pick for him, minny for some reason wouldn't bite on adding four future starters when you add Foye into the mix, thats why teams stay bad in this league, people like MCchale

LMAO @ a Laker player trying to coherse or throw salt on that situation just because the Lakers are in such a quandry.
No doubt K.G. is unbelievably frustrated but he'll remain in Minnesota next yr.
LMAO again at Evans saying "WETHER HERE OR IN MINNESOTA". The Lakers need to get it through there thick skulls, they aren't getting K.G. and finding help for the Most Selfish Best Basketball Player on the Planet is going to be extremely difficult. What a Ginnie Pig Evans is being.
I hope David Stern fines The FUCH out of him or the Lakers for commenting on that situation
