I thought Gay had a better season than Bargnani, but he was on a losing team.

Honestly, Balkman was not one of the top 3 rookies this year, but he probably should have gotten one vote. Considering that he was picked 20th, I think that he played better than alot of guys picked ahead of him.

He got the recognition he deserved.

Has nothing to do with where you got picked. It's based on production.

Tyrus Thomas: 5.2ppg, 3.7rpg.

Balkman: 4.9ppg, 4.3rpg.

Remarkably comparable players on paper. Thomas is a better shot blocker, Balkman is a better steals guy. Balkman averaged about 2 more mpg.

Balkman should have won the Rookie w/ the Best Hair award and certainly should be All-NBA first team for best hair.

You got a much better joke in than I could have come up with, so I won't try.

It is ridiculous, however, that Roy didn't win the ROY unanimously though.

Already seen a few complaints about it. LOL. Petty as hell. The only reason people get so offended by Ty Thomas is because that was basically our pick... to the Bulls. It's silly. Yes, Isiah traded away ANOTHER good player for no reason. Get used to it, guys. Tyrus had a better year than Balkman, if no other reason than he contributed positively to a winning team, while Balkman contributed positively to a losing team which could barely find minutes for him. Enough said.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
