Cablevision Nearing Sale To Founding Dolan family For $10.5 Billion Cash, Debt Assumption: Report

Dealbook is reporting that the Dolans are on the verge of finally taking Cablevision private. The total price tag: nearly $23 billion including debt. The board is meeting to finalize details but, as those of us who have covered CVC over the years know, the deal could collapse or an announcement could come within hours.

Well now we know why Isiah isn't allowed to use their MLE this year.

lol- I wonder if the bloated salary wasn't all part of a plan to make the company seem less valuable to investors so they'd take a lower price!

Dolan is tired of having to answer to shareholders. It's that whole accountability thing.

More profits, less accountability.
