Are there articulable reasons why this board favors Isiah?

I think there might be reasons why the overall posts on this board might favor isiah eventhough he has done a terrible job with this team.

1) A lot of the smarter posters get tired of posting and mostly just give up(ie-kosmo). On the other hand the less intelligent posters keep going to town. They are enjoying this activity while the smarter posters are just getting pissed off about how the less intelligent posters don't understand what they are saying.

2) Bias- I think most posters on this board are black and even if they don't know it they intuitively prefer the black general manager. White people are less likely to have this bias for the simple reason they have not been discriminated against as much.

3) A lot of people just want to believe in something. Isiah has done a superb job of pissing in your ear.

4)(questionable) People might find it easier to support a black general manager as opposed to a white general manager because we all know there is somewhat of a bias toward white people as opposed to black people.

5) People are still pissed about the job larry did.

6) Isiah is in charge and people tend to respect authority.

Overall nobody on the board favors isiah. Im a little annoyed at some of the non-sense you wrote but I think that's what you were trying to do.

Scott layden was the worst Gm in sports history. Not cuz he is white. Isiah is on his last days. If the knicks don't win next year everyone will be burning a cross in front his house. Not cuz he is black, but because he hasn't really made an improvement in the win column.

This board is not favors Isiah
There are some posters who are and this is their right to express any opinion.
The rase stiff is irrelevant - Isiah will be snake and stubborn show-up guy if he will be white or yellow.
Being discriminated against in not the reason to be biased. In fact it is not an exuse for powerty, lazyness, and ignorance. A lot of African American stoped complaining about stuff and became successfull and prosper. I think this is the best ansver to discrimination and racism.

See what people post when there is no Knick games to watch. The Isiah favoring is 50/50 on this board, and thats the way it should be. I am a supporter of Zeke because he has a plan he is committed to and I am confident that he can continue to improve our team. My I.Q. or pigmentation has nothing to do with this.

Cash, your post does not sound too intelligent to me and I take offense with the suggestion that someone who supports IT is somehow unintelligent. I think IT has done a C job at best, but I do see potential with the team and think that a few good moves can get this team to the level that it needs to be.

I do think the wins-losses and direction of the team are the main factors. As for personal preferences, biases, whatever, I think we had a 25+ page thread on this, so relating to Isiah is pointless. Everyone can judge for themselves and nobody is going to wholeheartedly agree with anyone else's opinion. Maybe that's okay.

The main point is this:

I have to believe that the main factor of why anyone likes or dislikes Isiah is direction of the team, which makes up the following:
1) wins and losses
2) personality of personnel
3) style of play
4) future

If you believe that we're going in the right direction, you like Isiah. If you believe that Isiah has sunk us into a hole we can't climb out of, you don't. Those have to be the main factors, right?
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

You have offended me with this stupid-ass comments; you see, most of us dumb black posters don't have the time to post crap. We are all here to discuss basketball, white, black, whatever the color and Islefan(who I think is from another planet - but still a cool dude) even though many of us tend to disagree at times we do respect each other. This is a message board and people have a right to their opinion but you sir should go lock yourself into the closet right next to your white sheet and hood.

Okay I'm taking the bait. First of all most of the posters on this board aren't black, and its not close, based on what we know about the posters on this board.

You are correct in saying that white people are less likely to have a bias towards a black person, and that is because for the greater part of this countries history, masses of white people have been biased against white people and were the perpetuators of discrimination against black people. You know, Slavery, Jim Crow, Rape, seperation of family, destruction of culture, lynching, you know...just some light-hearted fun from some good ole boys.

Please spare me your theory of how white people are somehow more objective when it comes to matters regarding race, history tells us a different story.

But thank you for knowing the intuitive preferences that exist in all of our black minds better than we do.
And since you know so much about the black mind, tell me what my black mind thinks about you?
