36,26,22 in each of his last three including a 16-16 at FTs in the season finale. He has a legitamate 40+ vertical and plays a lot like josh smith. I'd love to throw the entire MLE at him though he may be used a piece in a sign and trade for Rashard Lewis.

Wouldn't mind seeing him or Webster getting a shot here. Outlaw has skills. Comming out of HS, he ws one of the top 5 players in the country. Its just a matter of time before he comes into his own.

Outlaw would be a perfect compliment to the front line we already have. He's the shotblocking Sf we've been looking for or need for our unusual frontline. I think he has a shot to put up G Wallce numbers for yrs to come.

I allways really liked Outlaw. But we need shooters. We need to be able to spread the floor. We need spacing.

Why not space the floor with a Shooting Guard? If Isiah wants to go with a frontline of Curry and Lee, a player like Outlaw, G Wallace, AK 47 (if healthy) are ideal because they are rare SF that can put up PF stats (blocking shots, help defense, etc).

where in the BLUE HELL do we have space for outlaw. the kid is still not developed.

are we trying to make the playoffs or not? b/c there's no place for outlaw and balkman, especially with quentin and jeffries still on the roster.

time to CONSOLIDATE...this roster does not play well with too many parts and only a handful getting consistent minutes.

as long as marbury, crawford, lee and curry are healthy, they will each get 30-35 mins a night.

which leaves the SF spot up for grabs with quentin, jeffries and balkman. whomever is healthy i guess.

then you have a handful of backcourt minutes for mardy. ONLY place where THIS ROSTER needs depth is at the backup 4/5 (maybe frye).

but there are no spots for the travis outlaws or the #23 picks of the world.

Not sure if your familiar with my posting, but I've alwyas took the stance of rebuilding.

If we are going with the front line of Curry and Lee, Outlaw makes more sense than Q
and JJ2. We dont need another tweener (Q) to get major minutes next to Lee (who is a tweener himself.) The fact that there isn't any room for a young, up and comming SF prospect like Outlaw who would fit nicely with the other young players we have is an indictment of Isiahs lack of vision and forward thinking. Too much redundancy on this team.

We need to figure a way to trim some of the fat (Francis, Q and JJ2)even if its for scrubs with shorter deals. Shorter, younger rotations is needed. And as I said, Outlaw is a better option at Sf than what we already have, particularly at SF.

I agree wholeheartedly. We need to see what Balkman, Collins, Lee, Frye, and Nate can do with another summer of training under the belt. I really think that we might have alot of what we are looking for sitting on the bench. We just need to give it time to develop. The goal should be to grow and develop and then to consolidate after we get a better idea of what we have.

Just like we have 3 PF's and where still looking for stability there. Just like we have 5 backcourt players and we still need a legit Pg, and a legit SG that can shoot ans defend. We have 3 SF's, one has a bad-back and can't be counted on for a full season, the other is a situational player who sholdn't play more than 10-15 per and the other is young, brings tons of energy but is yet to prove that he can be starter material.

yea well you just listed what the knicks need more than a SF. a PF who can complement curry (ie shotblocking, rebounding), or a consistent G who can shoot. we have a mediocre SF, an injury risk, and a player who will need more minutes next year, they dont need travis f-ing outlaw.
