Bird is going to clean house.

JO might be gone by the draft.

I'd hate to trade Bynum but JO and Kobe in their primes together would be pretty damn good.

Atlanta would be crazy to do that, they need to build not go for a homerun. JO needs to go to a veteran team or a team needing a second star. If I were Atlanta I'd trade down a few spots and get Conley.

Atlanta would be foolish to not draft Conley after passing on Paul

Isiah should hire him. Stick it to Bird. Just for laughs.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

- bird is saying there were a 3 year plan with carlise but b/c of those 2 years with artest and the fights, they gave carlisle the extension.

- they are committed to getting skill players and they are going after good players for the community. when a guy shoots a gun into the air (sjax), you gotta deal with that.

- said he had a positive meeting with jermaine and that's all he'll say about that.

- got rid of players that were an embarrassment from the team.

- it's heartbreaking for him to say his players were causing problems so they got rid of them.

- there are some very good coaches. there are some young guys (coaching) that are up and coming.

- will not consider a college coach.

- promoting from within, it's a possibility but they haven't talked about it.

- no, i haven't thought about coaching.

- they have an idea for a direction. if they can make a major trade that will help them, they'll make it. any one of my players can be traded.

now, he didn't just fire carlisle. he said it was a mutual decision and he's welcome to join the front office if he wants to. and carlisle will answer questions after bird.

How is Isiah still here?
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Well, if we can move Isiah back up to the front office, Carlisle is an excellent coach. He set up all of the ground work for Larry Brown to win a title. He turned 'em into hardnose defenders.

Tinsley's gotta go, apparently. (he's a ton more polished than Telfair, ha!)

Can't hire carlisle cuz his style doesn't fit isiahs. We already been through that already.

Isiah is stuck as the GM/coach unless he moves mark aguirre up.

Yeah, if Larry Bird were the manager here, just about everyone would be gone in 2 days besides Lee and Balkman and Collins.
