so watching the games last night i was thinking that anthony parker looked pretty good. didn't see as much of nocioni but he was brought up by other posters a while ago. i'm not going to put hope in a pipe dream that those guys will leave their roles on winning teams to help eddy out here in NYC, but it made me think.

are there other players of that style in international ball? those guys can shoot, defend, and play physical, all things we can use from a 2-3. parker even has a big game reputation from overseas. yet they were under-the-radar pickups. can we cash in like that? draft a good solid american PG and pick up the next of those guys, and develop them along with curry et al for a few years down the road?

Tiaggo Splitter used to be known as a dead-eye shooter til his coach made him a defensive specialist.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Well there are tons of American ball players playing overseas.

Remember tyus edny? He had a marvelous career in Europe. Everytime he came to the NBA he had to go back cuz the NBA wouldn't give him a respectable deal.

Anthony Parker had to pay his NBA dues then become the best player in euroleague before they have him a respectable deal. Same goes for Troy bell.

The NBA now has to humble themselves cuz they don't have all the best players and they don't have all the best teams. Arrogant NBA culture has caught up on the league. Age limit? What a freakin joke. Boozer falling all the way to the second round because of the potential trend. Guys that look like Dirk that had no busines getting drafted, etc.

The NBA needs to respect our American players. Just respect the game really. If a guy can play he can play and this isn't the 80's where the worst NBA team could blow out any team in the world. Right now it would be hard for the NBA champ to beat the top European team.

Anyway, the League should stop playing games and scout talent for what it is not what it could be if they had wings or magic slippers. Its not fair. The high and mighty NBA needs to check itself.
