Go back and check the stats for violence in this country over the last few years. It isn't rising dramatically. It is rising in some places, falling in others, and overall shootings like this and VT are extremely rare. What's common is for people to look everywhere for a scapegoat when something terrible like this happens... Let's just get it out of the way and blame global warming, video games, and smoking pot while we are at it.
