This is a Message Board Public Service Daily Reminder Announcement to those whom this applies to.

I'm being serious here. Our overall fan base nor coaches/suits/uppers can avoid crutching this. With that being said...

Jermaine O'neal is off the record check out his past 3yrs of health in the nba not good(S&T plus a hideous salary)

Marcus Camby now I love this guy(he'd be my only exception) but do I even need to comment on him(S&T)

Gerald Wallace flying injury(S&T)

Rashard Lewis from his knee to his shoulder I don't know wants a big pay day(S&T)

Ray Allen ankles have been killing him since his Milaukee days(S&T)

Mickael Pietrus see Gerald Wallace(S&T)

Woodies have surfaced at the idea of attaining these players any given day on this board. So not only do we embrace their checkered injury history but we'll also give up assets in the process while giving them/taking on ludicrous contracts, jeopardizing our cap flexibility. Next yr we'll be crying about one of these players going down while we're 4-5 games under .500 then Lather, Wash, Rinse, Dry........Repeat. Yeah that makes sense, I guess that's how we operate in these neck of the woods.

Definitely not a chance I am willing to take.

I would have traded Eddy and/or Channing for Amare at the beginning of last year because he was 23 even if he was coming off of double micro on one knee. He was still 23. JO is WAY to big a risk in my opinion-he's going on what 28/29? Unless we are getting him at a huge discount, no thank you-especially if the knee thing is serious.

Last year it was head cases and now injuries. It will probably be 'we need bonified stars' for next year. There is no simple solutions for any of our teams. We need a clean slate, we need an overhaul!
I'll never trust this' team again.

We DON'T need an overhaul. Do you not recognize we a group of young players who have a great chance of improving in this league as a TEAM. There's no need to do anything drastic YET. PATIENCE is a virtue and it may be the best thing for this franchise. We have to start looking at the 2009 season cuz it's not far away. Meanwhile most of our young players will still be young and in their prime. We can make small additions and focus on developing the team from within. I almost hope that Isiah keeps his word and that we don't get a tempting offer from some other team. We have a good group of young players we can move forward with and there's NO GOOD reason to interrupt that process. KG is getting up there and would cost us a lot in terms of talent and cash. JO is as was pointed out a guy that has a lot of wear and tear. With our luck he'd be toast as soon as we got him. We have a roster that can withstand injuries, but NO ROSTER can have as many injuries as we did at one time and not feel it. PLUS you have to allow for the growth of the young players. They will get better and likely hold up better in the same situation when they have more experience.

Let's see how the draft goes and how the young players develop over the summer. I'm anxious to see how they come along. I had no problem with Isiah trying to also sign a FA like Carroll, but if he decides not to it's no problem. Like I said we have time on our side with this team. Isiah has done a great job of adding youth in the last 2 years.

THAT improvement RELATIVE to THE league WON'T be enough. We NEED another BIG TIME PLAYER whether YOU admit it or NOT.

Wait- better add Kenyon Martin to the list

Hey- I'd take Ray Allen if he was cheap (Francis/Nate or some other combo)

But then, I thought getting Francis cheap was a no brainer.

Lets state our own injured list for next season:

Q (bad - 50 games max)
Steph (no good - 60 games max - 40-50 if he will go for surgery)
Steve (no good - 40 games and do we need them?)
Big Snack (bad - 30 games even if it metters)
Eddy (suspicious but 70 is a good guess as this season was too good)
Craf (who knows after surgery)
Lee (hope he will be 100%)
Jeffries (better he will brake his legs (sorry))
Balk (flying high - 60-70 games)

So we need durable players and solid players at the same time - who will give it to us and wahat we have to get them?
We have unlimited chips supply so lets keep gambling - it's a metter of time

I think Curry will always be soft on defense. Frye was lost this year because IT was developing Curry. Frye plays best at center. He is a smart player and I like smart teams (Championship Knicks for example). If we can trade Curry (at his highest value now) to Seattle, Portland, or Minnesota, then we could use their #1 to get Corey Brewer. I love his all around game. Front line of Brewer, Lee, and Frye; let them play for a couple of years and watch what happens with the rest of our young 'n's. If none of them turn into stars, we will have several very good players to go out and get "the man".
