Man, they swept Atlanta like the Knicks swept Charlotte in 1996. I'm not a huge hockey fan but i'm obviously rooting for the team that shares the garden with the Knicks. How far can they go?

Rangers suck.

It'll be fun watching them get beat by a team that actually tries, unlike the pathetic Thrashers.

I follow the rangers, but I'm not really into hockey until playoff time. I saw every game against Atlanta as I flicked back and forth between other stuff. I saw game 3 where they went 7-0. That was an awesome game.

I gotta say ranger fans are more loyal than knick fans. Yeah the rangers are dominating the thrashers in the playoffs but regardless the crowd cheer together. The team comes out and salutes the crowd, the crowd all have white towels swinging them around in response. Not a quite sober mofo in the building. That's just the way it should be.

I can't wait til the knicks recapture that greatness.

Dudes the rangers totally dominated Atlanta. Atlanta was supposed to be the better team. I dunno but I think the rangers might be on to something special.

hockey fanbases are LOYAL. there's about 20,000 hockey fans in nyc, they all like the rangers and they all have season tickets. it's almost like a cult b/c there's no mainstream coverage, it's like their own little secret.

the garden during playoff times...no better place. i remember my first knick playoff game - game 4 vs. the bulls in 1992. riley's first year, we had the x-man and we beat the bulls. greatest feeling i ever had in the arena for a knicks game. and then having tix for the next season, the charles smith year. and then again going to the playoffs in 99. such a great atmosphere.

I am not sure about 20 thousands in NY and which face of NY you are tolking about.
But it is huge fan base in Brooklyn. Couple of 100000 Russians you can count in.
Couple of millions in Cech republic, Sweeden, Slovakia.
A lot in white 3-state area suburbs.
NHL is world league and NBA... also coming along. But not Knicks. I think they missing out.

I"m glad you saw them win, but please don't remind me of those outcomes, not once, not twice, but three times, watching that bald headed bastard & co. crush our dreams.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Fuck yes we're loyal. To tell you the truth, the strike was a good thing for me. It just pushed it further behind the scenes. I don't have to deal with bandwagon fans and I no longer have to deal with the Endless Self-Promotion Network. And everyone understands the game, unlike the other sports.

And islesfan, don't get your panties in a bunch because the Islanders eat monkey feces. What a joke... I heard Wang just signed the Zamboni driver to a 36-year deal. The back-up goalie GM issued a statement which said "We want to blow the combined length of Yashin and DiPietro out of the water."

And how's Luongo doing? At least Snow is an upgrade from Milbury. I wish you'd stop rooting for the Knicks, YOU'RE JINXING THE TEAM. All your teams have ****ty GMs. Please, denounce your allegiance with the Knicks so we can get a good GM.

LET'S GO RANGERS
