Two way players who NY should go after this summer:
(more than just offense to their repetoire game)

Kevin Garnett
*everyone's top dog this summer.

Jermaine O'Neal
*2nd nba top dog this summer.

Marcus Camby
*not offense but can score & his D is missed!

Elton Brand
*This allstar is not available but if LA fails playoffs again who knows?
Healthy clippers underachievers

Omeka Okufor
*MJ says he's not available; Gonna be good soon. We need shotblock mindset big guy here badly

Ron Artest
*Marbs? NO; YES I'd give up Frye+Curry for Mr. Artest and Miller.

Zach Randolph
*hardworker on bad team. Wouldn't give up these guys in Curry,Marb,Lee,Mardy,JCraw.

I'd involve few other knicks or draft picks? for Randolph

I'd only deal Curry for Randolph if we can get some draft pick in return.

i completely disagree about Randolph... he's not a 2 way player, his work ethic is questionable at best, & his contract is heinous... i'd love to get any of those other guys on that list, but realistically we only have a minute chance to get maybe KG, & that's only if he demands to be traded here... Ron Artest is an option, but at what cost?... in other words, we have very little options to target any impact calibre 2 way players this offseason besides using the MLE wisely & making a smart pick w/CHI's swapped pick in the 1st round.

Perhaps you're right on Randolph. May have overrated him a bit

All in all knicks need to do a big deal with Kevin Garnett or not. At least make public offers
NY wont go anywhere when none of their present players is capable of being a go-to-guy. That will

Marcus Camby is the perfect guy to put next to Curry! I know he's getting older but I would still do Frye, Nate, and Rose for him. We would still have Lee coming off the bench and we'll be grooming Randolph. Front line would be set for a few years. We'd just need to find a legit shooter!

Camby would be ideal. If you could keep Lee as the third big guy that's a good rotation. Then you really would need shooter at the three

i think that artest is the best bet along with a shooter like pietrus i don't think its a major makeover and i believe you could get a deal done, by moving frye, jefferies and nate for artest, and then perhaps move crawford and morris for something as well. Draft a sg with our pick, sign pietrus as the starter

I have a strong feeling we are going to trade for Ron Artest this offseason.

The trade is going to be Q rich, Frye, & either our pick or Balkman.

We are going to try for Garnett but he either is going to stay. Or Chi is going to give Minny a way better deal than us. We are going to go after J'Oneal but Indy is not going to trade J'Oneal to there division rival. We are going to go after Rashard Lewis. But we don't have the ending contracts to give Seattle. So in the end Ron Artest is going to be our big addition.

Maybe even Webber as well for the mid level after Frye is traded.

If you have Camby, it makes having Curry PERFECT and everything about having him makes sense, even if Camby does miss 25 games, which I know he will.

However, I see no way or no how Camby could possibly be available.

If we do get Camby though, I would think the Knicks would trade for a semi veteran shooter in maybe his late 20s to lift us up to championship contention.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Kings need to rebuild their front court. see what Frye could net on draft day.

I'd still consider him. But I am not giving them Q. I want to see how his back plays out. We have him hurt for two years, it may just be our luck all he needed was surgery and now he'll be fine and then we trade him for another injury risk in KMart.
