the guy is out for 2 months, the team is not playing for anything, so was this basically something to just stroke his ego?

what if he got the ball, and took the jumper and marcus williams jumped into him and he landed on his ankle?
or what if he sprained his ankle backpeddling or when the shot went up and he jumped up for the rebound and he landed awkwardly?

i'm sorry but that was a farce. absolutely terrible. why didn't isiah do the same thing for lee or marbury?

what is isiah thinking? what is this organization thinking? just mindboggling.

1) He wanted to remind people (Dolan) what they were missing.

2) He's a moron.

There are really only 2 options.

1) To see if the Willis Reed effect holds true in exhibition games.

2) Jamal is the new Mardy.

It was Phony.

The sad part about it, there was this employee, part of the sound crew I believe who was trying to pump the crowd up to cheer for him. He got a rather status quo ovation it wasn't compelling whatsoever.

One of the dumbest acts I've ever seen.

I don't even know why I bother talking about this team anymore. They just don't seem worth anyone's attention anymore, to me.

No shizat, the fans aren't dumb. We all realize Jamal and Lee should just not even touch a basketball until completely healed.

I'm still thinking about the moment for a second here. The sound audio guy was panning the crowd and Jamal at the scorers table simultaneously with rapid head movements so fast as if....

"Hey guys get off your rear ends and pay attention to this staged act that's going on, Jamal's entering into the game and he'll be back on the bench before you blink. Come on clap your Azzes Off".

I think he even gave the 2000 raise the roof signal.

I was like What The Pisss?.......(Simon from American Idol voice)....HIDEOUS, GHASTLY, AWFUL!

Yeah, that's just dumb. If there's any crowd that DOESN'T need to riled up, it's us. Proud to say that. We can rile ourselves up.

Yeah I saw that guy too. Wasn't sure if he was working or a random fan with a Blue Tooth on.

Obviously I wouldn't be shocked if he were a Knicks employee trying to get the fans to cheer.

come on man, you guys sound like a bunch of old women complaining.

Hell what if marcus williams was diving for a lose ball and lands into both jamal and lee, sitting on the bench in street clothes and breaks both of their legs? should neither guy not be in the building. Heck the chances of a player running into the other teams bench saving a ball is just as likely to happen..

What if jamal slips on the marble floors in his house in the middle of the night, trying to get himself a bowl of fruit loops? should jamal stay out of his kitchen? should he just stay out of the kitchen late at night? better yet, is Isiah still the devil if this happens?

geez....

Just as likely to happen? You can't be serious. How are protecting our players, for once, and not risking injury for no reason?
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

That was nothing but a idiotic stunt by Isiah to try and infuse some energetic moment to stop the nets from sweeping the series from us 4-0
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

he might have wanted to get jamal in one last time at the Garden before the end of the season. they might have wanted him to even take that shot at the end of the half but steve-o didnt even look to pass.

and that guy was definitely just a fan with a bluetooth headset, he looked like such a fool trying to pump everyone up

In my view, no harm no foul. NOt sure what the positive side of it was, but the chances of him getting hurt while standing in the corner on one play were minimal
I just hope that people will like me
