Why does the Knick offense move in slow motion? Most of the league has a lot of motion in their offense, why don't the Knicks? Movement causes some chaos and matchup problems. In the Knicks offense, the only movement is the guards. In the normal staring lineup, Frye and Jeffries don't move within the offense, we see more movement when Lee, Balkman, Nate, and Collins are in there which is why they get back into games when they've been down, they become less predictable. Hopefully next year this will addressed and fixed. Anyone else notice it?

We tried the "motion" offense with Don Chaney. That didn't work out, so we're never going to try it again.

Except for the beginning of this year too and then we found that neither Curry nor Marb could handle it.

If anything we've learned over the last two years is that our team works best when the offense is as simple as possible.

I mean movement in the half court set (movement without the ball). The Knicks come down and set up but with little or no movement toward the basket. Frye just wants to shoot from the outside, Jeffries doesn't do anything offensively. When Balkman and Lee play, all of a sudden there is more play in the paint within the offensive sets along with rebounds/putbacks. They have the ability but they only seem to do it with the second unit!!

it's true. Marb and Curry, who are the main cogs for the team, can play 2-man ball and that's about it. And Marb is more a pick-n-roll guy than anything. Starters like Q, Fran, Jefferies, well, I don't know how they fit with Marb/Curry. Maybe Q can hit the outside shot but he is a career 40% shooter.

The Princeton/movement/triangle thing Isiah talked about was flushed after about a week.

So, we are left with feeding the post and a guy in the post who doesn't know what to do with it except go to the rim, so movement is kinda moot.

That's a lie about Curry, he has no problem with movement, first off we didn't start feeding Curry like this until about the end of Novemember. Second when we first started to feature Curry we made him move all the time and set a million screens, but the only guard that can hit Curry with a decent pass is Crawford. Three, the center in Isiahs quick offense is a finisher and rarely even has to make passes. Marbry is the only player not producing threw all of this.

Basically the only reason we don't move is Marbury has the ball most of the game and he is an idiot. He couldn't figure out what to do with him self til everybody was standing still.
