Denver doings

I may owe an apology to Nene, who is showing a post-up game and some rebounding desire he didn't seem to possess since losing weight after knee surgery. Averaging about 17 points the last month, he has given pause to the Nuggets' first-round playoff opponent. … With Nene's contract extension, the Nuggets go well over the luxury-tax threshold and the rumor is the team will look to move Marcus Camby this summer for financial reasons despite his defensive play. … The Nuggets may have found a nugget in Linas Kleiza, shooting over 40 percent on three-pointers the last three months after making two all last season.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

denver got enough guys who need to touch the ball in Melo and AI, why would they want to get rid of their defenders, 'bounders, shot blockers for a cheeseburger eating machine?

We'd probably have to throw in Balkman. They need to just run up and down the court with the how their team is constructed and where the game is moving towards. Evans would still be there and Balkman isn't a shabby rebounder. The only thing EY is BLIMPY and not conditioned. If they put .....

A.I.
J.R.
Melo
Balk
Curry

on the floor that would be a nasty run and gun team.

Curry would last about 5 minutes a game out west on that team. He's a half court player. No way he'd survive, and no way they'd want him.

LOL When I first posted this 2-3weeks back I got repsonses about Camby and Nene's health and Nene's contract. Now I'm getting responses like these mentioning Denver wants no part of Curry.

Probably true. It's not as if ISAYUGH can detatch his mancrushes to make such smart moves anyway.

Camby is awesome. Let's face it, if we wanted Camby and Nene, it would take Curry and Lee. We could probably get a pick or something from Denver, but I think that's the package they'd want.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I can't see them trading camby and nene. I can't see them being traded individually.
I can't see Denver making a deal with isiah after the brawl.
I can't stand the rain by Janice Joplin is a classic.
I can't stand the rain by missy Elliot is noise.

On a run and gun team yep. Look at the Warriors and PHX they have out of position players throughout the whole game.

not to mention the thin mountain air in the pepsi center. he would collapse every home game.

I don't think there's really a shot in hell that Camby leaves Denver because he's almost that teams glue and their leader and they are still contending. When they are ready to rebuild, which I think they should consider, then they'll trade Camby, but they are still thinking championship, and so long as they are doing that, they should keep him for as long as they are doing that. He's too important for that team. When he goes down, they go down.

camby will come here and be hurt for 20 games a year. the guy is matchstick man. that's why he was traded in the first place.

camby's games played #'s with the knicks:

46 games (strike)
59 games
63 games
29 games

the guy missed, on average, 30+ games a year for us.

then he goes to denver and misses 53, 10, 16, 26 games respectively.

the guy is a walking injury.

True and I guess that would be the only reason not to look at him. At the same time Denver has been a playoff contender since acquiring him.

he has helped every team he's been with when he's played. problem is that when you trade for an injury prone guy, you're going to get frustrated when they get hurt again and the excuse cycle will continue.

Well part of his injury problems is due to being an overworked undersized center for his makeup. Camby should be a 30min player tops per night. The frontcourt here would be balanced and minutes could be distributed accordingly if he were here while at the same time raising the team's defesnive intensity that has been missing for about a 5yrs now.

for his career Camby averages 30MPG. He is brittle not overworked.

Camby is also a different player. He still does his thing but he is old now. He's not taking risks at the rim, running and jumping all over the place.

I still would love to get him but its too much risk and just far fetched.
