He wants to come back. By doing this he's forcing a decision to be made because once again he sounds as if his role on the team should be a more prominent one.

From Newsday

"I just want to develop my confidence going into the summertime, knowing I'm still capable of doing a lot of things," Francis said. "I just want to take advantage of this opportunity and also try to help some of these young guys learn how to play.

Despite the logjam in the backcourt, Francis said he wants to be back as a Knick. "I love playing at the Garden, despite the boos and despite you guys destroying us in the papers," he said. "It's still a great place to play."

LOL @ him talking about developing his game at the age of 30. Also WTH did Lucas do with him while he was down in H-Town?

I see a lot of activity this summer concerning this ball club. You have Patterson's agent angling to get a deal here and C-Webb wanting to play here. Crazy stuff.

A lot of activity would be complete BS.

How many times is Isiah going to be allowed to turn over the roster?

First Larry held this team back. Then they add Jeffries, Balkman and Collins. So the next excuse is that injuries held them back.

That's BS. Isiah should be able to win with the team that HE assembled over 3 1/2 painstaking years.

Do really want to bring back a no accountability roster in tact that won 32gms while we watch all 29 other teams get better?

I want to see Isiah win with the same group that Larry was supposed to win with. If he can't do it, even after adding Jeffries, Balkman and Collins, then he needs to go.

There's no accountability because of the Team President, GM and Head Coach.

Isiah should still be allowed to build the team. I mean damn, larry wasn't gonna win a championship with that group. Still larry totally want interested in coaching them. I don't even want to revist that season. Bottom line man isiah still has the right to keep building. He has done a lot of shuffling but their seems to be a good mix of youth and isiah has a shot at adding to it. He has a shot at seriously making the team a playoff team. He definately has a time limit on him though. He still deserves a shot to build on the positives in the group.

well, Isiah has had 3/almost 4 years with the Knicks with the biggest budget every year. Any coach he wanted. Used the MLE to his liking. Bought out players he didn't like or didn't want. Why the right to keep "building"?

there are like 5-10 key areas to being Pres/GM of a basketball team and Isiah has been good at drafting. Don't know if there has been another area he has exceeded in. Getting an extension perhaps.

In other words 1 dimensional like his roster. Or to be a little more kind to the Lovers "JACK OF TRADES MASTER OF NONE"

Just one more year! I'm a. Glutton for punishment.

Seriously, Lee, balkman, curry, and the backcourt.... He has one last time for me. I can still see a light at the end of the tunnel. If he screws this up I'm all for pulling him over and emptying the clip.
