From the New York Times:
The description of Lee’s lower right leg injury has been modified again. After a new series of tests, Lee said, doctors are now calling it a bone bruise, with a strained peroneal tendon. The team had called the injury a stress reaction — which implies that it happened gradually. But Lee said doctors are now “trying to stay away from the word stress,” because it appears that the injury was caused by a single incident — when Lee landed awkwardly in a Feb. 23 game against Milwaukee.
so I guess they did misdiagnose him after all. huzzah.
edit: do you think they're trying to not call it a stress reaction so it doesn't look like they missed it like they did with Craw?
