Would you trade Crawford for Magette and then move him for a lottery selection?

Its clear the Knicks formula isn't working and the clippers are in a very tough situation, Magette wants out, Dunleavy and him have a rocky relationship his role isn't really defined. We need a change in the worst way.

L.A. Clippers Trade Breakdown
Outgoing
Corey Maggette
6-6 SG from Duke
16.5 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 2.6 apg in 30.2 minutes
Daniel Ewing
6-3 PG from Duke
3.0 ppg, 1.2 rpg, 1.5 apg in 12.1 minutes
Incoming
Jamal Crawford
6-5 SG from Michigan
17.9 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 4.5 apg in 37.9 minutes
Nate Robinson
5-9 PG from Washington
10.0 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 1.4 apg in 20.6 minutes

Then Package Magette with Channing Frye for the bobcats lottery selection 6th pick in the draft? Or just move crawford and frye for the lottery selection along with 3 million dollars and hang onto nate?

The Bobcats need another scorer and may find fryes upside valuable, and it would give us a chance to get rid of Jamal and possibly draft a replacement for stephon in the draft.

This would give us the chance to draft a pg/sg combo or a player like horford, green, brewer, etc

Not really feeling Maggette. He kinda fell off. Actually, he was never really that good.

You are soooo twisted. If we wanted JC off the team, we won't have to get "rid" of him. He would gone, unlike the great Q or Marbury, he has trade value.

17 of 24 from the charity strip last night.

Heck- I'd keep him if we could get him- between him and curry, we'd be at the line all night.

Lets examine that because of all the veterans I felt that Crawford had the most trade value. Possibly to a team like Seattle where they seem to adore him. But he is now coming off ankle surgery. Do you think that his trade value may have taken a dip?
