32 - 46 is the current record. They just got blasted by Chicago, the team moving closer to a sweet pick when they swap with the Knicks.

4 games remaining: The Nets twice, Toronto and Charlotte on the road which can turn into 4 straight losses once the season ends. So much for thios team looking to make the playoffs.

what's even worse is the fact Larry's new team in Philly are now ahead of the knickerbockers in the standings. Somewhere out there, Larry is smiling

What's really sad about this season is swapping picks with the Bulls, a team that can actually get a top choice in this yr's draft.

If the knicks finished the season at 32-50, that's 9 games better than last season under LArry Brown. To me, you still lost 50 or more games for the past 2 seasons.

Don't forget that, according to the "experts", LB was tanking last season to prove a point. This season, Isiah is trying his hardest and they only won 9 more games so far?

let's face it, this team wasn't good enough last season to challenge for a playoff spot, & the same holds true this season... they just don't know how to play in a team concept... Red freakin' Auerbach could coach this bunch & they'd still not make the playoffs.

Don't forget what the team was like when Layden was here. That had an impact on this season too.

We were on pace to win 37gms which probably still wouldn't have been enough. Keep in mind other teams had/have injuries.

Actually more disappointing to him is if he found that Pluto had to be put to sleep. He got his picture taken with him in Disney and he was only up to Pluto's chest(it was last year)....

thats true, but you would be telling a lie if you told us that injuries didn't have a negative affect on our season this year. Last year we didn't have as much injuries and they certainly did not happen all at the same time. Other teams injuries are not my concern, some teams can survive injuries and some can not. You can't tell NY would not have won more games had we had everyone at full strength ? Even with your disgust for the team would have to admit that.

Francis injury really does not count as he really was never here mentally to begin with.

What really hurt was DLee and Craw. Marburys been hurt and I think could have played if needed.

Eddy has played all year! As had Frye.

In all, this season has been a disaster once again. We are a very deep team and should have done better with what he had even when we were healthy.

The "ute" getting run and seeing what we got gives me hope.

We are the Bulls B!tch.

Basically, this is how I see it.

We lost 4-5 games that we would have won in the first quarter because Jeffries was hurt, the negativity at home messed with the team, and the players were still learning the system.

We played at about our potential for the next 2 quarters of the season, with steady improvement.

We lost about 4-5 games that we would have won in the last quarter of the season due to an excessive rash of injuries to key players, i.e. Lee, Crawford, Q, and Marbury. That is basically 4 of our top six players that missed extensive time or played hurt in the last quarter of the season.

Thus, I think that if this team had the stability that it should have developed last year under LB and our injuries were more spread out and did not involve as many key people, we would have won about 40-42 games this year.

I expect that this team should win about 45-48 games next year if everyone comes back and Balkman and Collins improve their games (and we waive Francis).

Q's injury hurt as well. He was playing good bball until he had the injury and then his back started acting up. Not for nothing, but those guys were 3 of our top scorers. we lost them all around the same time. Have you seen the games lately, this is the opponents defensive strategy: double curry, triple curry. Force Balkman, Collins, Jeffries to take a shot, put a tall person on nate, zone against Marbury. It's difficult to do things with out your key guys. I think the best thing we can take from the injuries is that it gave more time to Balkman to show case his skills.
