What the Detroit game showed very clearly, to anyone with any doubts on the subject, is that one of the Knicks greatest strengths is their depth. Some will disagree, but I'd say the following are or in the case of Randolph, will at least be serviceable backups for ours or someone else's rotation.
Curry Lee Frye Q Balkman Jeffries Craw Marbury Nate Collins Francis Randolph
Having many injured players at once is very unusual, so I think it's apparent, that we don't need all of them plus whoever we pickup in this year's draft. What we do need is one of two better players. So what Isaiah should try to do is package two or more players to get a better player or package a player and our pick to get a better pick or a better player. I know this isn't rocket science and I know it's not the easiest thing to do, but somehow, he has to do it. We're going to have too many guys who should be playing keeping the bench warm. That's not good for the players or the team. We need to trade quantity for quality. It's very hard to do but it has to be done.
