Isiah brought the kid in this season yet he does not play him. You would think with Chicken Frye playing so badly it can't hurt but to play Morris.

I think that would probably be the biggest set back to Fryes confidence in Isiahs mind. We can't go from not starting David to protect frye, to playing a kid three weeks out of college instead of him.LOL

It's not only Frye's confidence. Morris hasn't even had a summer league or training camp. He's a good young talent, but he's not Greg Oden. He needs some time.

I'm not talking about starting him. I'm talking about giving Morris some minutes. We play the Piston tonight if we get blow out there is no reason for this kid not to play.

No need to rush and play Morris. His orientation papers haven't even arrived yet.

As there is no precedent for his type of arrival, why rush him into a pre-set professional situation that most rookies struggle to find their voice?

Balkman was brought along gradually.

Lee was brought along gradually.

But you know if he gets real time in any game his energy is going to seperate him from Frye. I could see it now, the fans cheering Morris as he goes to the bench and booing Frye when he checks in. You know that is what would probably happen. Showing Frye is unneeded has been avoided all season, why start now????

Great post... I completely agree. Let him learn the ropes now so he can contribute next season.

As for shattering Frye's confidence, whatever. He hopefully will have some productive gams down the stretch so the Knicks can flip him for a late first rounder.

Are you saying that Frye is that weak? And if he is, Morris getting a little time during a blowout can't save Fyre's confidence. What will happen next year? Because things are not going to get better it might get worse for Frye

Lee, Morris, Balkman, Jeffries all need minutes.

Morris is not scheduled to play this season. He is not NBA ready per Isiah, he is working with coach Aguire on defending post up moves and peforming post moves. I trust Aguire more than anyone on that bench. He has worked will with Butler and Curry. Frye is hopeless. He displays post moves in practice but will not use them more in games.

Frye will be fine. He is only a sophomore.

Frye did nothing tonight except steal the ball from Eddie.

normally I'd agree with you there but Eddy should have said "i got it", frye was just looking at his rebound = tunnel vision. i like the effort even though it was ****ing stupid

Now come on. Curry is in front of Frye who not only sees his jersey, sees his body and the back of his head. At some point you have to say hey that big guy is my teammate. LOL, he fought harder for that rebound then he has others.

If you practiced every day against annoying rebounders like Lee, Balkman and even Nate sometimes, wouldn't you think all of the big guys would learn to box out better? Its crazy how little the 7 footers on this team board.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Isiah really doesn't care about frye is was evident how he force fed curry and never gave frye an oppurtunity at the start of the season
