It seemed like Nate has been in the Dog house most of this year. He really has turned it around. If it's any indication, he had 1 turnover in 50 minutes last game! This is a freak'n miracle. Seriously, he's averaging 1 TO the last 5 games. I'll say I haven't watched the games, but just looking at the stats, something is changing.

In the last 5 games he's averaging:
18pts, 48% FG, 42% 3pt FG, 75% fT, just under 1 steal and just over 1 turnover, 3reb and 3 assists.

Looks like instant offense. The thing that jumps out is his TO though. That is what can make it or break it for this kid, due to his past childish play. If he turns the D on...

He might actually be an offensive force. As much as Isiah allows him. With Steph out now, watch him be allowed to light it up. Again, if he plays some D he'd be a valuable piece.

As With all of our young players, this time has provided a great opportunity to see what they've got. Isiah has been all over Nate and it may be paying off. We'll see if he can keep it up. No one denies his talent. It's his maturity level and self control that we want to see improve. If he could also be just a bit more team oriented and look for setting up his teammates, no one would have a problem with keeping him. If he can't learn to do those things, then we may see isiah use him in a trade this summer.

I like Nate, but he and Frye should be trade bait this summer.

We need a big two guard, especially if Marbury and Craw are going to be the starting backcourt next year. Nate is a Boykins clone, slightly better outside shot, more athleticism, but still, he's a two guard trapped in a SMALL PGs body. We need a big wing of a SG.

I wonder if Nellie likes Nate? Nate for Pietrus?

^^^^ LOL

I Have no clue!!!! I have no idea why these "Havoc" ball players have such a hold over knicks fans. If you play in in the offensive schemes and are not the best player or two, I feel your stats are fluff!!!

Since Isiah pulled Nate aside in deliberate plain view of the crowd, Nate has changed his demeanor and become more business-like.

Nate has game

So when Larry Brown does it, he's stealing his joy but when Isiah does it, that's just good coaching.

Hypocrites.

Isiah is forced to play him due to injuries and Fran has turned into a real b!tch.

Isiah has Special Nay Nate on a very short leash. Like the ones Mothers used to used on special children when then went to the mall.

Its amazing how much Isiah has to talk to him, and his team mates.

Dam, I missed the game, but it looks like Nate had another decent performance. 24pts and not much else. Shot 45% or so.
Anybody that watched the game have any comments?

Nate can't sneak up on anybody, you'd hear his clown horn from a mile away.

He was cool as usual
I guess he gives no dmm for which of two teams he plays.
If the rules will permit he can play for both. He will produce double points and double turnovers
He is the next reason after popcorn why people still come to watch basketball

Nate is showing that he can be an offensive force off the bench, which this team needs. I have come to the conclusion that Frye must be traded. I still am not sure that we have to trade Nate. We will likely draft a SG and Collins can play defense at the 2 spot. So IMO, there is not a real big need for another SG unless we are getting a solid player (and no I don't think Pietrus is the answer at SG). If we get a solid SG prospect in the draft, I would keep Nate at least until the trade deadline.

Pietrus is 6'7 and can play defense, nate is 5'7 and doesn't play any. hopefully this ups his value and we can move the guy. Nate scores we lose for the most part, he is really not a good lockeroom personality.

If we can find a way to package jamal, morris, frye for something good than nate is a good asset off the bench, but you need to move a lot of these guys that have personal agendas other than winning
