think he has the size and floor game to give NY what they need at the 2.

speaking of disappointing 2gs that were picked in the draft- what about J.J. Redick?

I'm just wondering if he could become a Matt Carroll like journeyman 3pt shooter?

Perhaps Frye & our pick for Redick & their pick this year?

Why not just sign Carroll? He gets steals and boards and plays some D as well as being a good shooter. Reddick would be a big bust in NYC.

I'd rather have Matt Carroll McCants does have talent, but I think we need a bigger more well rounded guard. Matt is ready. He stepped up this year and performed really well when Cha had all their injuries.

I think I would look at Matt Carroll first Deshawn Stevenson 2nd because D will probably cost triple of Matt Carroll.

Matt Carrol may be taller but there is no way he is more versatile than McCants.

Rashad can shoot pass penetrate and POST guards.

I think Matt Carroll is a nice player, same with Kapono, they are both outstanding shooters but as this franchise stands, we don't need to be going out and signing marginal guys like them to MLE-type contracts, not with the biggest CRAP coming off our cap in the coming years. MLE deals for guys like Carroll and Kapono are just going to tie-up our cap worse then it is add to the fact that we are likely drafting someone like Morris Almond in the draft.

It would be one thing if we were a shooter away from winning a title, but I'm not for making a move like this because we are a shooter away from getting the 8th seed in the playoffs.
