Probably because you think we are at an ending point and I see that we still have a lot of moves to make and I don't feel like sitting through another 3 years of Isiah changing his mind on who the core is going to be and who it isn't. He still has to make plenty of moves and I don't trust him not brign in another Jerome James, Jalen Rose, Stevie Francis that has nothing to do with the core that he is trying to build.
When I look at the roster I see a starting center. I see a PF who is good but doesn't fit with the center unless we get a SF that is an intimidator. I still don't see consistent shooters to spread the floor and a completed backcourt. I still don't see Curry's running mate. I look at your list and know that this team will not compete without more changes. I want a GM that can focus on this and builds according to plan. NOt one that wastes moves on guys that so obviously do not fit into any plan that it is beyond understanding why they were even acquired in the first place.
My list wasn't intended to be a finished product, but the current state of the team. I would expect that some will stay and others will go in order to IMPROVE the team as it relates to Curry as it's focal point.
Aside from Steph, Q and Jared who I think we would be unable to trade, there are some players that I feel we don't have to even think about moving. Curry, Lee, Balkman, Collins and Morris should be kept. With exception of Morris who we have yet to really see, I believe the way they play is an example of the kind of players we want. Anyone else could be moved and I believe we could replace them with someone better suited to how this team is looking to play.
If Isiah dosen't do a thing but draft a SG/SF the team still makes some sense:
Curry - Frye - Morris
Lee - Jared - Morris
Q - Balkman
Jamal -
Morris Almond - Nate
Steph - Collins
However I think he'll look to make a move in order to strengthen the team and tailor it more to fit Curry. You can't go into it assuming he's going to make a bad move.
