We were a .460 team before the injuries. And a .500+ team over 50 games. It is not a big stretch to think we should win 43, 44 games next year.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Yes it is because when healthy the team was on pace to win 38gms at best. They were 26-32 when Jamal went down and David Lee was out. That equaled a 45% winning %. They improved very slightly to 28-33 without them, which equaled 46%. 46% multiplied by 82gms is 37.72wins when healthy. Please for the last time hush up about the injuries, it's been debunked over and over and over and over and over and over and over. When you factor the bottom 7teams either/and have equal young talent, cap room, and draft pick(s) The Top 8 teams won't fall too much if at all. This was supposed to be the case this yr 43,44,45,46 win team

We were a .460 team before the injuries, true or false? Think hard.

The whole idea of being on pace to win 38 games is not the way to look at it to me.

6-11 Nov.
7-9 Dec.
7-8 Jan.
6-5 Feb.
5-9 Mar.

This team was actually showing a small but steady growth after the bad start in Nov. I believe that a bit more healthy this team could've won more of those 8 home games in March. If you look towards next year it's not inconceivable that they will get off to a better start and maybe a much more consistent season. If they came back with the same team. It's more likely that there will be some changes, so I can't predict anything until we see what this team looks like next year.

False I did the math for you we were 45% which translates to a 37win season.

Here's the teams record after Crawford's injury keep in mind Lee was already injured.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=270226018 26-32. 26wins divided by 58gms=44.8%. 44.8%*82gms=36.7wins

Debunked yet again. They got as good as 46% after Crawford was out 3gms after improved to 28-33.

Great. We agree. Now take away starting 5-11, being booed at every point at home (1-7) trying to regain some confidence that was destroyed last year.

We are at worst a 40 win team next year.

So it appears the only thing that needs changing is the fans so we can start the season better and then not for one injury or suspension to occur.

No. What we needed at the start was confidence. And Isiah (so many hate the excuses Zeke makes for the guys but there's a reason why) has been doing nothing but trying to build up the confidence that LB took away.

ANYONE can lose confidence. You have to be a FOOL to think that you can't have your confidence shaken. How old are you? Have you not lived long enough to have experienced the ups and downs of life? To have doubts even perhaps in something that you do very well? We have a lot of young men on this team. To me they are all very young, since I have children that aren't that much younger. I'm sure most had never experienced anything like last year before.

All I know is that we had to establish some things this year and at the start of the year the team was shaky, but they gained confidence as he year went along. They still were far from perfect but they actually played like a team which they rarely ever did last year.

So was confidence a problem in the first half tonight?

People honestly need to look at themselves if they think the Knicks are going to be a 44 win team next year... I mean honestly.

Would it be more reasonable to say 41?

So last year was supposed to be so much better, some people said playoffs, if not for Larry Brown but 2 years later with the addition of 3 more first round picks and the supposed "glue" in Jeffries, they're not going to be anything more than a .500 team?

Some of you really love to have it both ways.
