Okay, so here's how it works. If Donovan is willing to listen to Kentucky then you KNOW Dolans chedda and the ultimate allure of the big city would generate some curiousity. If Donovan is really so interested in the next high-profile job, what better place than New York?

Lexington, Kentucky? I've been there and trust me, the main drag is nothing like Broadway.

Isiah has enough to hang on the bench for one more season. Forget Herb. Forget Mark Aguirre.

Billy Donovan (any relation to former Knicks GM Eddie Donovan?) in '08 is too perfect.

He did play for the Knicks once.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

So did Phil Jackson but he was smart enough to stay away.

Don't you have faith in Isiah?

The Coach is not the problem - the GM is.

code - you always look to improve... and be aggressive.

If Zeke sez he would trade his own Mom's if he felt it would make the team better, one would have to surmise he has at least given the idea of Billy Donovan a cursory glance.

Seanc3 - the GM ain't the problem (otherwise Balkman would suck as most people thought he would, Lee would be an average ballplayer and Mardy Collins would wilt faster than Ernie DiGregorio under pressure)

Au contraire, missing too many free throws is a problem... turnover in consistent rotations (due to injury) and lack of intuitive cohesion is a problem... the uncertain decision-making / unforced turnovers in the clutch is a problem...

but what do I know?

That's an interesting idea, but I thought Donovan said he was staying in Florida.

Why would you say Donovan is better than Isiah? We talkin' about Isiah.

Isiah can get 'er done and I'm not talking about Anucha.

Why any decent coach will agree to work for a loser?
Why anybody would want to put their a..ss into the fire?
Just for big $$$? We saw this already. This never works on this level.
