Florida's junior starters Joakim Noah, Al Horford, Corey Brewer and Taurean Green will forgo their final years of eligibility to enter the NBA draft, university president Bernie Machen told Bloomberg Radio.

"They will announce soon that they're going to stand for the draft,'' Machen told Bloomberg Radio for a program due to air this weekend. "They thought about it and decided it was in their best interest to move on."

The four juniors were expected to make an official announcement on their futures Thursday afternoon.

Last year, after Florida won its first national championship in basketball, the four juniors announced they would remain in school and try to repeat as champions. They completed that mission on Monday, beating Ohio State to become the first back-to-back champs since Duke in 1991 and 1992.

Their coach, Billy Donovan, announced Thursday that he is staying at Florida and turning down the opportunity to interview for the vacant head coaching position at Kentucky.

The draft is looking pretty good Isiah and our record is looking pretty crappy...

But you can't get centers that average 7rbs and less than a block while turning the ball over almost four times a game without taking chances.

We are going to finish in the seventh spot in the draft perhaps the sixth. So your looking at

Odom, Durant, Wright, Horford, Brewer, Noah, Jeff Green, Hibbert, Possibly connely jr

Its time to admit that this trade was is a disaster and even ty thomas in the middle would be an upgrade over eddy in the long term. And if your "positive" its time to be positive that this team is screwed long term because of Isiahs decision last year.

He blew a chance to build a contender for the next decade in with solid drafts at the 7th and 21st slot, not making the q, eddy, and francis moves and just sticking to a plan.

Collins, Balkman, Lee thanks for making it possible to still be a fan

Collins shot terribly last night!

I'd have to say Steph is doing the best he can, but he is "all alone" again really. What happenned to Eddy Curry?! Why is this guy playing his worst, when he should be at his best?

He doesn't get the ball when he is open, he gets it when we set up and run a play for him. By then he is double and triple teamed. Not having a distributor hurts Eddie. Top that off with the fact that he doesn't go after offensive rebounds and he is lost unless we have a distributor and players to spread the floor. Been saying it since the day we acquired him. Takes some longer than others to get it.

No way Bip. I watched Curry enough to determine his play. He gets the ball when he is quite open. Problem is he waits 1 sec, 2 sec ... now is doubled team ..., 3 sec, 4 sec ... now comes the triple team and then commits the offensive foul or pass turnover. He is a step behind everyone else and always seems surprise that the double team is coming. The ball comes into Curry for about 6 secs of no production. Its comical if I wasn't a Knick fan. Even Clyde said that Curry needs to learn how to react quicker and stop bringing the ball down below his chest. I agree not having Jamal to throw alley oop passes hurts but this guy got to do more than just alley oops. Ewing used to have the same problem but was able to put the ball on the floor. Also Curry position himself outside the post. When he is usually on his game he position himself deep in the post so he is allow to bang the double team and go to the basket. I can normally tell when he is on his game because he picks up a 3 sec violation but it is worth it because the officials are not going to call him on that everytime.

This is great news IMO. The more quality players in the draft, the greater our chances of picking someone of relevance with our pick from Chicago. With these four entering, we should be able to get a decent SG prospect with our pick.
