They won't make the playoffs but they'll finish with a better record than the Knicks.

If Philly did make the playoffs they would have NO SHOT against the 1 seed. Philly's been playing really well but they simply just are not good enough to beat Detroit

I'd be interested to hear if anyone else feels the same besides Isles. I tend to think many people here would feel Philly has a legit chance as long as they get there.

I think making the playoffs brings an edge something I can't quite explain. If there prove to be more resposnes in this thread that I can read up on I'll be able to explain myself more fully.

Another observation the Sixers are 25-26 since the A.I. trade which is essentially .500 basketball. They appear to be a team who's improving compared to the beginning of their season. Does this in any way show they are capable of suprising anyone in the playoffs?

Sixers remianing schedule. They have a good amount of home games plus games against teams who will either be in shutdown get ready for playoff mode or against Tank teams.

Toronto
Atlanta
Indiana
at Detroit
Cleveland
at Toronto
Orlando
at Boston


Knicks remaining schedule. Too many road games and 1 too many games against teams jockeying for playoff seed position


Minnesota
at Milwaukee
Detroit
at Chicago
at Charlotte
at Toronto
New Jersey
at New Jersey

I'm going to have to assume with no one elaborating on what they feel the Sixers chances are getting the 8th seed and possibly suprising means no one feels it's attainable.


Couldn't they be like a wildcard team if they get in?

Sixers just beat the Pacers. That puts them ahead of the Knicks if they don't come back against the Bulls.

If nothing else the Sixers will likely finish ahead of the Knicks.

The Knic..I mean Bulls pick looks like it's going to be at least 1 spot better after tonight.

Sixers play Orlando this week is there a chance the Magic fold and the Sixers pull this out.

It would be nice if I could get some substantial feedback on this. They are looking like a threat game after game.
