17 points 8 rebounds with 15+ mins to go.

he's blocking shots and intimidating all comers.

but they're down 9 right now. ohio state's guards have to step up.

nobody can go to the hoop. he's turning everyone back. his shotblocking timing is uncanny. he's not fouling...all clean blocks.

A lot of future NBA stars in this game. Oden, Conley, Brewer and Horford are big time players.

Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

Why can't they find the shooter on Florida's team, he's killing them. Oh and I'd like to make a mention Noah is overrated.

oden has no help tonight. you can see why tanking is a strategy. whoever ends up with oden will be a VERY happy team. right now, he will average 10 boards 2+ blocks in the league at age 18.

Interviews with college kids are always the best.

Oden really impressed me last night. He is definitely the top pick if that team has any real need for a center. The guy scores and is a terror on the defensive end. Plus, he seems like a good kid with a good work ethic. I don't see him going lower than number 2.

oden reminded me a bit of lebron- he just looked like a man among kids- I don't know if there is any doubt that he would be a top pick this year- every team except perhaps houston, orlando and the knicks need a center.

If we had oden in the middle instead of eddy with a healthy lee, and q all season i bet our record would be better than it is right now, the guy just knows how to protect the rim and get rebounds.

Oden could easily finish the balls that Eddy is dunking, the only difference i see is eddy having a better jump hook

Oden has some awesome ability, but he's not a leader. I can't see him leading a team to a championship like Duncan.

Packer and the guys on ESPN were saying last night, "oh, Oden has the heart of a champion" and on and on ... ugh, I didn't see the heart of a champion.

What? Because he played through fatigue he has "the heart of a champion"?

his impact on the game last night was negligible. Despite the stats, what kind of a difference did he really make?

Really obviously you weren't watching the right game, because if anyone on his team could knock down an open three pointer ohio state would have won the game. It not his fault that he blocks shots and defenders aren't cover their men.

How is he not a leader because he is quite and reserved and goes about his job, pretty similiar to duncan.

He couldn't be stopped and that was with a team goin 4-whatever from three, easy to look at a player and critiques him when he is locked into a zone. not happening at the next level

What??? Oden was the best player last night on both teams. The guy single-handedly kept Ohio in the game and pretty much shut-down all low-post scoring by Florida.

for all the hype he gets, he shoulda been able to lift his team more than he did. It's not like his supporting cast was lacking.

The reason the guys weren't hitting shots from the outside is b/c florida allowed Oden to get his and focused everything on the perimeter. They even said as much in the post-game.

yes, but judging a player in the college atmosphere is no way indicative of his impact in the nba. duncan never won a national title. he never made the final four. chances are, you would be saying the same thing about him.

oden's individual skill shined bright last night. and if you have a big man that can defend the interior and block shots, then the chances of your team winning at the next level increase.

I rather take Roy Hilbert over him but he did keep Ohio in the game. Florida is just that much better
