I said about 11 games ago that the Knicks would probably go 4-7, beating Dallas one out of two and amazingly still 2 to 3 games out. The results:

3-8
Just missed Dallas by three points
And still only 2-1/2 games out of a playoff spot

I also see that Marbury also ball hogged again, with his 43 and ONLY 3 assists against Dallas, which goes to show he did not get the mates involved again.

Man oh' man!!! Since Dolan re-signed Thomas again, he must just be kicking himself in the ass with the point of his shoe. Have any of you noticed how the Knicks sort of laxed once he re-signed. It got worse, as soon as they hit the playoff spot. This team is a mental failure. This team will not' get past they're own mental handicap.

I'd like to see the starbury defenders come out of the woodwork again! You will never be convinced that the experiment is a failure and you won't see beyond the possibilities of what it's going to take to win. LOL
I'll never trust this' team again.

dude...you sound like a man that just lost his girlfriend...

43 points...without those points we wouldnt be even close to dallas since curry didnt step up offensively and frye who i feel needs to be traded after this year because he isjust soft

your talking about laxed....the team is playing ball minus richardson, lee, crawford, when u lose 3 of ur top 5 scorers it will be tough any night...considering lee is your best rebounder..u get effected by that too..

you obviously didnt watch the game in dallas, you just saw that statline and automatically assumed that marbury was ball hogging...he had to put the team on his back since no one else was scoring..im not defending steph but he has been playing stellar basketball...we all know he's not a franchise player...but he damn sure has been playing his heart out

and if you think the entire knicks team is a failure, thanlook at mardy collins..he's developing now...renaldo balkman too,

its pretty preposterous for you to even make a thread about this since the knicks are missing 3 of their top 5 scorers
''We don't have the luxury to take anybody lightly,'' New York's Quentin Richardson said. ''We're not that good.''

The team did not relax, it came back down to earth and Dolan saw it coming, which is the reason he did the extension when he did. There is a whole other thread talking about injuries, but the point is, the team is not trying any less than it did before the extension, it just does not have the horses to get it done.

Yes bro, I'm talking about laxed. With starbury we're nothing and with Craw man and Lee we are at least a step or two up. How about starbury again, last night with his 30 and this time an incredible 6 assists?! We still' lost by two. You see, a REAL star would have pulled it out, but little starbury is just all mouth and lots of points scored, but no wins. Should' I watch the game? Basically, I'd have the same opinion no matter if I watch it or not. I don't care about his heart. He's been here now 'how long'? And it's what' the same old story? I'm sure your satisfied, as well as a few others here having starbury on this team and the incredible win-loss total since Zeke got signed again. I sure am not and will not be happy about any of this mess until it is gone and done with. But you want to know the real problem on this team overall is now? Dolan! When he signed Thomas again (who brought starbury here and stilll believes in him), that signaled it all right on the nail. I'll just say to you folks that if you cannot see what the overall problem here is, then you'll be suffering for long time to come. Don't expect any 'SMART' moves from this brass (bunch) and don't expect to compete for a championship for a long time. I know that sounds really down and throwing in the towel, but really' do yourselves a favor and ask your self if you are really happy about what is going on here. Ask yourselves if this team really has any chance of winning. I for one do not want to wait another ten years experimenting and waiting to see if it gets any better. You know what the problems are (starbury, Dolan, Thomas) so why can't you have the guts to speak out against it?

And yes, I do see promise from our young guys, but you need people to develop this bunch and the organization to have a healthy development. It's going to change, but what bothers me is people like yourself who defend it when you can see that it sucks! Why defend it?
I'll never trust this' team again.

One point I am' making is the fact that starbury has had another chance to 'take over the team' and the record reflects a lousy job. starbury is a failure, no matter how many pionts he scores. It troubles me that Dolan would sign Thomas again, just because we made the playoffs for a day. I mean ask yourself 'what's wrong with this picture'? These three need to go! I made the case that it was time to dismiss Thomas about a month back and people came to his rescue here and he gets resigned, just because we made the playoffs. Now we're stuck with him again and for how long? We had yet another chance thrown right down the drain. why?

What I am saying is that this whole thing is a failure. Stop protecting the failure and look for something completely new! Keep your good pieces, your proven pieces and find something, someone new. We had a chance to maybe get a new GM, but what we really need is a new Owner first. What are the chances of that? We're stuck! The fans have got to start recognizing this and stop dreaming! Wake up people!
I'll never trust this' team again.

it just does not have the horses to get it done.

No kidding.

So what we need is something proven, right? Zeke has not proven anything, but we sign him agian, right? What does that tell you?

Did you even pay attention to Steph's stat line last night? The guy was all over the place for this team. Steph started off slow offensively, but he was still doing other things. 30pts, 7rebs and 6asts. I'll remind you that to get an assist the other guy has to MAKE the shot or at least TAKE the shot. Which many of the guys on the floor with him don't do. You obviously have NO CLUE what you're talking about. GO LEARN THE FREAKING GAME 1ST and then come back and post.

Cuz i've heard all of this crap so much that it's annoying to me. It's easy to pick on Steph especially right now. If the complaint is legit then that's one thing, but to go after him this year is just pure BIAS. He's stepped up his defense and leadership this year. He WAS cutting back on his own offense for the sake of the team, until recently when it's become necessary for him to do more. If we had more help out there then he wouldn't have to do as much as he's been doing. They act like he hasn't changed, when he clearly had changed and the only reason he's doing this now is cuz Isiah has asked him to do it.

Why do you capitalize random WORDS in your posts? Why don't you address THE fact that Marbury's inability TO make an entry pass and play off the ball make HIM largely incompatible with Curry?

I just can't wait for the season to end. I am 'soooo' going to add up all of the stats and make the point in stone!

starbury, the ball hogging, high scoring loser! Does not, never did learn how to get his team involved. Proves more and more that Crawford is the REAL guard on this team.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Well' I did' say he's the real guard 'on this team'. Amongst other great guards, he's average. But maybe you didn't mean it the way I thought you did.
