Just wanted to hear some opinions (though maybe directly after a game may not be the best time).

Some say it's a sophomore slump. Some say he's just soft.

I have a feeling that he won't be a Knick for much longer and probably will be wearing Pacers colors next season. Another subject for another time.

So here's the burning question (BTW don't answer what you'd do but what you'd think Zeke and GG will do): do you see Channing Frye traded elsewhere in the offseason?

And... go.
-- the preceding post was brought to you by the letter K and the number 22.

We have to wait and see how Morris plays in summer league. That makes a big difference, I feel LEE will earn the starting spot next season and Frye would be delegated to the bench. So if Randolph is good with energy and blocks shots, then yes Frye leaves, especially if we get shooters in return. (guards)

i would LOVE LOVE LOVE to move frye in the offseason. i think isiah would try to move frye if he liked someone in the draft a lot and needed to move up to get him.

package him and the pick to try to move up in the draft? sacramento has nothing in the front court, would they be enticed to add frye and move down about 10 spots or so? would frye and the pick in the early 20's, plus maybe a future first rounder sway sacramento trade out of the late lotto and throw in quincy douby to make the salaries match? douby is a shooter this team sorely needs.

corey brewer and marco belineli (i remember him from the world championiships and olympics, hes gonna be a stud) are two guys that would fit the knicks need for a perimeter player who can D up and score as well.

I love how it's fashionable for everyone to start bringing up Frye trade rumors NOW. When Frye trade rumors were brought up this time last year, everyone who is bringing up the Frye trade rumors NOW called us "haters" a year ago because we were thinking about trading Frye.

Laying it on a little too thick there buddy, I doubt anybody was saying trade frye last year in his rookie season. And it was permature last year because it was before Curry stepped up his play and Lee was a small forward in making at this time a season ago.

I woud have traded Frye to get rid of Francis, but since we are buying out Francis(who it is funny that the first game this guy misses we score 100 points) I would trade Frye for a point. Luke Ridinour, Jarret Jack, somebody young and can run a team.......

We hope it's fact. What happens is anyone's guess. I wouldn't restrict how we trade him - just get the most value. If we can package him and another player to get a better player or with our pick to get another pick, that would be great. If it weren't for the injuries, we'd have more guys on our roster than we can give enough pt to.

Would you do Channing Frye to Kings for Francisco Garcia & the Kings # 1 pick? The Kings may have to throw in a low level guy (that may be cut by Knicks) to make salaries work.

We then draft Corey Brewer with their pick & best point guard available with the Chicago pick (Acie Law, Gabe Pruitt, Ty Lawson).

If Frye is traded we must get good valuer for him which won't happen right now.

Otherwise it will be Ariza all over again except much worse.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Right now, IT is evaluating Morris in practice to see what he can bring. The primary thing is does he have a consistent mid-range jumper, so that he can play on the floor with Curry, and can he play defense against NBA power forwards. IT needs a PF/C that can slide to the post, hit open jumpers, and also guard NBA power forwards. If Morris can do that, Frye will be gone this summer. If he can't, Frye will here until next season.

You trade Frye, or N.Robinson, ONLY if you include one of our long contracts with him (J.James, J.Jeffries, M.Rose)

It is a Fact. Frye has the potential to be a good player but he does not fit in our new offense. Lee and Morris will eventually take over that PF spot. Morris has a jumpshot even though not as efficient as Frye's. I think this would be best for the Knicks and Channing Frye eventhough its gonna hurt me a little to see him leave.

I think fact. While he fits a need (big man w/ a pure outside touch), he doesn't fit others (defensive-minded shot blocking threat).

How about sending him over to Denver in a package for 60-game Camby? Channing would pair up well w/ Nene. Camby would be a strong fit alongside Curry. It's one of those trades that could potentially be possible, given Camby's age/injury proneness. Camby is clearly a more complete player than Frye at this point and gives us more of what we need.

same. I think it's fact. I still like the kid and think he's got potential written all over him. but I just don't see Isiah keeping him after this season. sorry Frye!

I'd like to see us snag Herbert Hill with either a second 1 or a 2nd round pick and let him and randolph morris play together upfront for our SL--get them in both leagues and let them go 10 games. I think Frye is not a good fit and we may nedd to use minimal invetment to see if we have the chance to upgrade and then trade.

this would be a day late and a dollar short trade. shoulda moved him when his value was high and could've netted possibly a Carlos Booze.

instead of playing him and Cutty together, platoon them

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

So people really want Coery Brewer???? Number one we already have two players that fit the no offense/ glue guy bill at smallforward. Number Two, and most important, how many Lotter pick players in the Nba got pick because "they could be locked down defenders" as their only strenght??? Ron Artest, Tayshaun Prince, Gerald Wallace, James Posey, Josh Howard, Shane Battier, Andrei Kirilenko, Ect.

Bewer would be a horrible pick.

I don't know about Frye. I think he has to go.

though I don't think Larry Bird will ever let a Pacers/Knicks trade happen.
