Great game that New York can build on rest of season and for Next season. #3 Marbury played
like a NBA Allstar tonite Do you believe it ? Giving guts and type of play fans expected all
along from Marbury. He's ny tough and a fighter. We need more fighters on this team.

I tell you about team D and I've alwaay maintained when you play some defense like NY was doing
to hang in vs Best team Mavericks, its a joy to watch not even referees can close out Knicks as
easy as MAVs coach Avery Johnson would have liked tonite.

Dont get me wrong Dallas is a great team and perhaps will win NBA title (hope not!)
But Coach Avery frown and pouted like his team shoulda been up by 100pts

Contributions defensively from full NY squad. What did I tell you eh ? Defensive mindset is key to
it all. Its called Knick basketball

Referees and their ticky tacky calls on both squads. The refs were horrid and inconsistent and
you can play your game and nearly overcome even these refs. Next season if NY plays same way
vs same team they win it.

Without Francis and more Collins and Balkman, the defense was looking good. This is a good sign for the future.

I agree, collins and Balkman hustle. Let's not leave out Curry tonight, he got off his feet and blocked a few shots. If he can do that every game that would awesome.

Avery was to caughtup in the hype.

All dallas had to do was make the game half court and take the ball out of stephs hands and make somebody else beat the mavs .

If this was a series NY would lose 4-zilch.

mavs are a good team if you put it all in perspective, they are not great. 10 years ago, this mavs team wins about 45 games..... But I guess we are in year 2007, so in the eyes of many, they are great...

10 years ago this Knicks team would be lucky if they won 25 games IN A GOOD YEAR but please continue to put the Mavs in perspective.

Why do we give the "if he can do that every game" cliche? He won't. He's too lazy. He shows glimpses of his capabilities then doesn't bother most nights. He won't, until proven otherwise and any comments regarding this should start out, "If he can get off his fat lazy ass, do the unthinkable and put in the effort every night, that would be awesome."
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
