Hes another HS phenom trying to make the NBA leap. But he is SF a position we need to address. He supposedly a atletic freak at 6'9" with insane leaping ability. The said at SF hes faster than most guards and large wingspan. Has anybody heard anthing about this kid?

I read that he has multiple fundamental probems basketball wise and that he is a beanpole. I am not opposed to the Knicks taking a serious long look at him with the purported athletic ability at 6-9. Like I said with perkins we need to keep an open mind in regards to high school players. At 6-9 with freak type leaping ability-we could wait a year or two for him to develop a J and put on size. Well get to see some of his skills at MCDS.

If he comes to the league he's a mid first rounder or late lottery pick just because of potential. I guess it just depends on who enters and who doesn't. He's exactly like Darius Miles, but because of that his stock will drop slightly.

No darius miles was ranked much higher in his class than this kid. he was 2. As for Outlaw- i said I hope we have an open mind but the bottom line is the kid HAS to come in to the pro workouts and show something more than dunking on a 12 foot hoop. If he shows he has fundamental skills like ball handling outside shooting rebounding passing abilities etc.... then if this kid does poccess vince carter type of athletic ability at 6-9 then we can think about it. If he is just a dunking machine well remember guys like kenny gregory from kansas??? or even deshawn stevenson who plays for utah? IMHO there has to be a game that comes along with the package and the Knicks need to be thurough in testing. keep an open mind

What about Amare? It isn't so easy to generalize athletic freaks like Travis Outlaw. He's a great shooter, great at handling the ball, and has been compared to T-Mac. And I know you aren't telling me that the Knick's couldn't use a young, athletic, dunk machine.
go knicks!

This is the type of player the knicks need. Even if he pans out to be nothing more than an Athletic freak then the knicks still would have done themselves good, especially since we have a team full of short, fat vertically challenged so called big men.. I would love to get this kid...
