I think he is going to be a stud in the NBA. He is not showing his complete talent because of the system UCLA plays. All the mock drafts have him going around our pick. If he is there Isiah should pick him up. I have the same feeling about Afflalo I had about Wade when he got out of college (not that I'm comparing him to Wade). But who ever Isiah picks i have no problem with it. Of all the dumb moves he has made, one thing he could do is draft.

I love the guy too. What I love the most is what he says. He is a killer. He wants to attack the throat you know? I would welcome him to the knicks with open arms.

I was just thinking today that my dream scenario would be us trading up (Nate and Frye to Seattle for the 6?) And drafting Green (or Brewer) and using the Bulls pick to draft Afflalo.

He's Andre Iguodala 2nd coming. He'd be a solid pickup but the team needs something better than him.

Affaolo is nothing like Iguadala. Try Raja Bell. Affaolo is a fierce competitor, who isn't an elite athlete, but a winner & a heart & soul (of a team) player.

i'd want someone a little more well-rounded offensively. i think brewer is a tad better, overall. the knicks could just stay at their pick and scoop up morris almond, who is apaprently the next allan houston.

I agree Purple. Raja Bell is a great comparisson. Afflalo is not as big or as strong as Igodala, but Afflalo can shoot the rock and seems to play with heart and fire like Raja. AI is more of a 3, Raja and Afflalo are pure "2" is the NBA.

There is something I don't like about his game. Yes he can shoot the rock. But he doesn't seem that quick or strong and doesn't have a great handle. He will need screens to get his shot off in the NBA. I don't think he is as aggressive as a Raja Bell.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

He looks like Raja bu that is because of the system UCLA plays. The system is very defensive and half-court oriented. He is a stud.

I saw the piece on ch. 2. I like the dude a lot. I can't see how this dude won't be the first shooting guard drafted. Morris almond is a dude I haven't seen yet. Maybe he is better maybe he isn't, but this kid from UCLA is hons be a good pro.

I like Aflalo but he isn't a top shelf athlete nor is he creative enough offensively for my liking, but he is a player and competitor. I like corey brewer, long, can score, great defender, I also love the way he plays the passing lanes... I would like to get brewer...

I was posting about afflalo a week back... saying we should consider him. i'd rather have a player with heart than a player with talent and no heart.

Even without his foul trouble tonite, he was doing nothing. Just not quick enough for Brewer and the rest. Won't be a big deal in the NBA if he even makes it. Also did nothing in last year's final.

He's definitely a Roger Bell-type

Afflalo is still a good player. UCLA was exposed on offense tonight. Their defense was great until they got in a hole. Without afflalo they didn't know what to do. Too much one on one. Can't do that cuz floridas defense is just as good as UCLA if not better.

Anyway, afflalo and raja is a pretty good comparison. Afflalo is stronger meaning he could stop jump take a hit and still knock down 15-18ft jumpers. He can take a hit anwhere and still finish strong. He is a humble guy too which is also a plus. Humble but still plays with heart.

He could be as good as micheal redd on offense but that might be a stretch.

I meant a ROGER BELL-type. Not Raja. Raja is on the Suns. Roger plays at the local rec center.
