Has he played his last game in the Orange and Blue?

Sure hope so - even though it makes us that much thinner at guard.

was at the game. francis strolled back to the bench not long after. i'd guess he'd be OK to play soon enough, but this could be used as another excuse to bench him so who knows if we'll see him again.

by the way, don't know if it was clear on TV, but the crowd literally broke into laughter on that posession when steve put his head down and dribbled a circle and a half around the court before going down and losing the ball. never seen anything like it.

I don't know about you but that really irks me b/c it's a rule of fundamental basketball. You do NOT dribble with your head down. And if you're a "point guard", that's pretty much Cardinal Sin Numero Uno.

he was dribbling in circle- going nowhere- not what you'd expect from someone using veteran smarts

Can't say I'm happy the guy got hurt, never want to see anyone get hurt. I never liked Francis, not before he came to the Knicks or while he has been here, but let's be honest, Isiah and Dolan did not welcome the guy with open arms and I almost feel for the guy, ALMOST. I say almost because I think about how much money he's making and suddenly I could care less. It's imperative that he is off the roster by the time next year comes.

Francis gets's no sympathy from me. The guy just doesn't get it. How long do you have to play the game before you begin to understand even the most basic aspects of it? If not for his freakish physical ability he'd never have made it so far in this game. He teases you with a decent play here and there and then he makes 10 bad plays. I hate to see him hurt, but I was glad that we went out of the game tho.

Knicks don't need him. Isiah should just tell him to go back to Houston with his boyfriend so he can prepare himself for next season.

Isiah needs to sign somebody to the roster already and stop playing around with this clown.

Friggin hilarious. That's exactly how I feel. One minute I want to give him a hug. The next I want him playing for someone else. And my mood can change three times in one sentence.

I just don't think you get it. You have to be patient with Stevie. He's still learning the game and next year he will learn how to move the ball and gel within the offense. He's only been here a year and needs time to gel. You say you have patience and then you want to run a young Steve Francis out of town. This is all part of Isiah's plan and it takes patience to see the Steve Francis portion of the plan through.

i was kinda hoping he'd be able to pump up some semblence of trade value before the end of the season, but looks like a buyout is inevitable at this point.
