Oh well! Next yr, we should have a dynamite team with layden trying to do some changes over the summer. Hopefully, McDyess becomes better than 100% for next season. As for now, knick fans are still hopeful the team could make the playoffs. we should know where we stand within 2 to 3 weeks...

Did I just hear that McDice will be invited to the Olympic Tryouts and first round in PR? And if he blows out the knee there again? If the Knicks let him go there, there should have been a clause in the contract that allows them out.... Damn - you wait a year to see how the star will do and then the first place you see him is in an Olympic or World Championship.. Right??????????????????????????

I would rather see him bust his cap again in the Olympics then on the Garden floor in the middle of the season watching all of our hopes fade away again. At least that way we would know he wouldnt be on the squad. But I dont think he is going to blow it out again, and the guy needs to play some ball to get back into the groove. I say let him go, let him compete, and best of luck to him. Hopefully it works out for everyone involved and Dyess will be at full strength in time to earn himself a new contract.
