Sacramento Kings forward Ron Artest told multiple teammates this week that he wants to retire at season's end to spend more time with his family, according to club sources.

Reached via e-mail on Saturday, Artest wouldn't confirm or deny making such declarations, telling ESPN.com: "We can talk about it after [the] playoffs."

Only Ron-Ron. Ultimately, y'know, is it really that surprising anymore? I don't even think HE knows anymore.

So what's next for him if he does decide to quit?

Re-apply at Circuit City?
Bust up another legend's ribs in a pickup game?

I'm disappointed by this, honestly. Ron-Ron's psychosis can't be duplicated or even imitated.

Once he looks at his bank account and realized the money he dumped into "Tru Warrior" he'll be back in a flash.

He needs more meds and more couch time with Dr. Melfi.

HE is a depressed man with problems.

Marv, whats your clinical diagnosis?
