DJ's without doubt GETTA' THEM-MA' OUTTA HERE NOW !Steve Francis:
His game is based on impulse and how bad other team is playing. He use to offer intangibles on a team (guard who rebounds) but its clear to all NY Knick Fans wild Stevie gotta go. Now Francis is
complaining about minutes after 5 of 6 losses as if Stevie turnovers and hoisted brick jumpers has
shown us we are not seeing same Allstar Francis once upon a time we all knew.
This deal for Trevor Ariza blew up in Knicks faces. Isiah blames Larry Brown. I blame stupidity.
Ariza is flourishing in Magic kingdom. All guys from UCLA like Trevor play D and that what ticks
me off most with Isiah Thomas for letting Larry legend make this deal. *stupid.
Jerome James: Anyone who makes under 30 $million gift contract and who is happy playing 10 min a game OR not playing at all as a cheerleader I want off the team. James has done a few good things in little bit of minutes. You get the most from him in under 5 minutes. After that he expires. A waste of salary and attitude. He had 1 golden yr at Seattle and was marginal at best. Make him go
poof/gone!

Eddy Curry: I am bright enough to know ALL of NY problems are not all of Eddy Curry's fault. Curry improved from last season and with 13-20 points a game & 7 rebounds who would not want to have that ? I've supported Eddy with all his health issues and what he seem to bring as a Center. Not any more.
DJ's point Curry impact is the softest impact to a team trying to win. I am fed up with Eddy Curry who I liked and I stayed off his back 1 1/2 years. However time for him to go. He's not going to play REAL Knick basketball which is in crunch time be an impact. (passing, points, blocks, boards)
He gets more angry that he's not scoring than when he blows his defensive rotation or fails to get
big rebounds.
Sadly you seen the best that big Eddy has to give Knicks he is a big very nice kid who hasnt grown up. He perhaps plays with his X-box instead of being a gym rat OR working on his Free throws, or low post defense. He's a child in a man's body.
To be honest I dont see Eddy wanted it enough. Do not make any more excuses on his age or being from highschool. There are lots of guys coming into a young NBA with same youth and less hype than big Curry and Curry is not going to be too much better. NO MORE excuses for Eddy. Knick team
aint health but Curry is health. Dont want to hear joke about his backache for being stuck in some
traffic on NYs FDR drive for 2 hours caused by sitting in his car.
Eddy Curry got trade value and DJ says to trade Eddy now. I dont believe Eddy wants to be a #1 #2 or the kind of Knick option we need. I dont believe Zeke Thomas got the guts to trade him which is
acknowledgement that Experiment-Curry has failed in misery. WE have weak teams we're fighting for
a NBA playoff spot and since Marbury (hurt) has carried us and had so so games big Curry can't get
job done and carry us these days. We aint even playing the Pistons or Spurs & Suns.
Curry feels being #1 option is only doing the low post scoring and that is all he feels he should do. I dont want this kind of Knick on my team. Thanks Eddy !!! but when you cannot even seize the stage against weak Centers from Sonics, Blazers and few other teams whom we needed to win against
I am not a happy fan and do not want to see any Shaq comparisions rest of year until we see Shaq
like play. Send Eddy packing for a Good trade. That is my sincere advice we can win without big Eddy Curry. A Good kid whose load has fired and we've seen enough of him.
DJ's Neutral on:Malik Rose: He knows the crap that is going wrong on team. He's a tiny bit older and not the most skillful NBAer. I appreciated his team first mentality who has a NBA title ring. Rose doesn't need to be on this Knick mess and if he found some contender to join and help I'd be most happy
for him he'd deserve it. His spot can be filled with youth.
Kelvin Cato: For as cheap as Cato comes he's not the same player who rebounded and blocks shot but Cato is not stiff either. If Cato was backup to a better Center/F than Eddy Curry DJ would not mind. NY will not keep 4 centers so make you own assessment for 2007/8 season. 1 of 2 centers cut.
DJ's Give another Year: Mardy Collins: Collins mistakes were easily cleared up when he got on court for more minutes. He seems like he can improve and my take on Collins is incomplete but I like Mardy. I think he can learn the Knicks system if a defensive system is implemented.
Collins will play in summer and will improve as you seen Renaldo improve now with playing time.
Channing Frye:
I am a big Frye fan from his impressive 1st rookie season and also I am a dissappointed fan seing Frye's inconsistency on improvement. However he got an upside. For the right kind of trade ? I'd have to think about it but wouldn't be as against trading Frye. Frye+players for KG ? sure
However I think his pluses outweighs he minuses since he always blames himself first. He knows
when he gets the job done and when he doesnt. I like it and will give him 1 more knick-year.
Jared Jeffries:
Many Knick fans want Jared gone, he has had first bad year as a Knick. Jared began season injured which had impact on his style of play and his confidence. Like Frye Jared is a look himself in the mirror guy and takes the blame. Not alot of knicks on current roster is like that. DJ is into 1st year adjustment period for Jared which I gave Crawford and Francis.
However you see the effects that Crawford seemed to find a role(clutch killer) and is a good kid. I feel Jared is also a good kid whom with confidence knows defense is his role. Unless some trade comes up I say give Jeffries easily another year.
Nate Robinson:
Love Nate, dont always like his attitude. He is a spirited player whom has to be given a leach but he also has intangibles. I see his plus as a player whom seems like a throwback like old Knick with his fire to do well and win. The outcome of Nate's crazy play doesnt always come out perfect on court but this Seattle Wash guy has sold me he likes NY & can learn to be our type of player.
The question is how long we wait? Since Feb. Nate has not got time and hasnt complained. We all
know he needs to mature and perhaps we'll see it here ? as we wait for other improvements in his game. Robinson had toned down some after the ugly nba brawl. I say give the flashy Nate another year. He's got no real position since he aint a PG and more a SG who has to learn other parts of the game where he can be a pesky defender player. We'll see. Robinson is a fan favorite and I'd hate to see him traded right now.
Guys I havent mentioned ALL should be on Roster to build around:
(i.e. Marbury, Lee, QRich, Crawford, Balkman)
Rest of guys above on top GOTTA GO LIST, really GOTTA GET UP OUTTA HERE!
minor opinion.
smiles
later & have a good one!
