Both of them should have followed the Frank Williams route and stayed until they were assured of a 1st round selection and get the guaranteed contract and sit on the bench or IR until they developed. Too bad.

barkley did get picked in the 1st round, by portland, traded to spurs, then dealt to chicago, then waived.

Frank Williams actually hurt himself by staying, had he come out last year he would have been a Mid to Late Lotto Pick

Well....that was predicted, but who knows what happens when teams start taking a closer look at players in workouts...just like Q Woods was predicted as a Lottery pick until teams interviewed him and worked him out.

I think FWill ended up where he belonged. And if I may say, FWill has impressed me with his increased poise, but has disappointed me with his lack of energy and disruptiveness on the defensive and offensive end. I hope he is playing it condervative right now but I'd like to see some more fire and desire from him.

Omar Cook wasnt that special. The one player I find shocking is Khaid El-Amin, he is so talented its ridiculous. Wherever he played he made a positive contribution but he keeps getting cut.

Barkley had to leave because there were all these allegations that he had swapped cars with an agent and taken money so he would've been suspended, if I remember correctly thats why he left, Cook was an idiot though, should've definitley stayed.

El-Amin: just a tad slow on D keeps him from being shut out, and his weight of course.

Omar Cook was projected as a lotto pick/mid first round, he dropped to the second round.

i'm sure he could have hung on if he weren't built like the robert 'tractor' traylor of pg's.
