My dad's got season tickets and the bill came for the playoffs almost immediately after the Isiah Thomas announcement. We both got a solid laugh out of that... what do they say about counting your eggs? Anyway, I can point out many reasons for why the failure is unfolding, which is tired. I dont feel like rehashing why this team was destined for failure from the get-go, just like most of you don't want to read the same crap over again.

So my question is this: some of you view the Knicks in a positive light, so I want to know why? (What's the formula here for something more than mediocrity? How and when are the Knicks going to feature a truly complete player?)

The Knicks should be able to recover completely from the Larry Brown Trauma by 2019.

Wanna know something scary? Larry is a diaper away from coaching next season.
Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

I'll try my best to answer your questions:

1. Some of you view the Knicks in a positive light, so I want to know why?

It's the same reason why more than half the country decided in 2004 that re-electing George Bush was the right move. In other words, some people refuse to take off their blinders and see reality.

2. What's the formula here for something more than mediocrity?

There is no formula! That's the problem. It's improvise as we go along. Trade for a grossly overpaid, underachieving veteran here, make a stupid MLE signing there.

3. How and when are the Knicks going to feature a truly complete player?

You mean Eddy Curry doesn't fill that void??

Because I am a Knicks fan and this is just a game. I will support my team no matter what and always root for them no matter how bad the times are. Again, this is just entertainment.

Entertainment should provide some satisfaction
When it's became boring and insulting it's not entertainment any more
This organization will have a chanse when people stop bying season tickets and attend the games.
MSG already lost a lot on commercial and national TV coverage and losing the season ticket sales must be the lust drop to start bowing the ****ty team.
Personally I think this should start next season but possible even this off season like it was done with Rangers.
Will see...
