Morris becomes your 2nd best post player on the team. I don't think you will see this happening again. Like the guy from the NBA say this is extremely rare. Kudos to Thomas and the Knicks for staying on top of it and saving the 15th spot for him w/o announcing it to the world.

good job of thinking outside the box by Isiah & his staff... could this be the next Jackie Butler, or could this be a legitimate future piece for this team to build with? at LLE dollars, the risk was well worth taking.

curious to see how long it takes for the first "Morris>>>>>Curry" thread to appear... i'm banking on 2 games.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

He looks pretty strong already. Good body. 260 is a very good wieght and it doesn't look sloppy. He looks pretty tight. He needs to show Curry what he did to get in good shape :) Imagine Curry at 280?

The thing is that we can always have a post up player in the game and be able to run the offense in pretty much the same manner. I believe tho that Morris is a capable passer, which is a step up in that regard. From what i've seen of him, he looks pretty good.

Mo may have had his flaws, but he had some ability. Morris may be a similar player, but in the end I believe he's a better more athletic version of him. Mo was super slow. Morris looks to be quick on his feet and even tho he won't be touching the top of the backboard, he's athletic enough to do some things. He's VERY agile and doesn't look stiff like Frye when it comes to making his moves. He handles his size pretty well. I like that he dunks the ball if he's in close and not defended well. I wish Curry were more aggressive like that.

They say he has a lazy streak, but let's hope that we can get him to shake that tendency and follow Lee and Balkman's example, rather than Curry's :)
