I'd put out this line up:

Steph
Balkman
JJ2
Malik
Curry

With:
Nate - bench scoring
Mardy - Bench PG/Point Forward
Franchise - if he behaves
Frye - to sub in for Curry

JJ1/Cato - if IT actually plays them

anyone else notice how Francis just seems lost whenever he receives the ball? he's never ready to make a move, he has to pause and survey the floor. I mean isn't that something he should already be aware of as a guard? spacing, movement, where all 10 players are, how much time is on the shot clock, etc. it's like he is never looking at these things until he gets the ball. we'll make 3-4 nice passes and then steve will get the ball and just hold it for a few seconds and let them defense recover. then he'll do 3 crossovers and dribble right into a double team in the middle of the lane. i mean come on.

Francis's game is horrible and he needs to be bought out. Nothing personal because I think he tried to fit in and be a good soldier, but he just does not play with a high basketball IQ and he kills our offense and plays little defense.

Anyone notice that the Knicks can't even beat .400 teams with Lee out?

nor Jamal. That's not a good thing. I like both of those players, but guys should be picking up the slack for the absense of Lee, and everybody seems to be using the absense of those 2 guys as an excuse, even though it's not. Very bad.

The team's 5-8 since the Lee injury (5-7 excluding the game he played 10 min although they really were basically without him) and almost all the games were against sub .500 teams.

don't forget about Q. he has played but played with his back hurting him. imo he's our 2nd best rebounder next to Lee, he gets them the same way Lee does, and if you notice he gets a lot of tip ins just like Lee.

the team's lost 3 key guys in the rotation, a dropoff in play was inevitable... anyone who didn't see this coming was expecting way too much for this team to begin with.

The team could have managed with lee and q, but when you take those two out you lose a ton and add in francis and it becomes a disaster

That's a horrible line up. You have three guys in there that can only score on put backs!!!
Basically, the other team can double team both Marbury and Eddie, and have the 5th guy camp out for rebounds!

Francis absolutely sucks. He is such a liability wheneve rhe is on the floor. He is turn-over prone, he passes usually end up going to the people in the front row and he can't play defense. Nothing personal, but he's time with the Knicks should end this year. I would play Nate in his place. Of course he brings his issues but at least he scores. Francis doesn't enough of that.
NY KNICKS 4 EVER! Will we ever find players like Anthony Mason, Xavier McDaniels, Patrick Ewing again? I hope so.

MAN there is NOTHING more frustrating than that! Perhaps a close 2nd is when Curry just looks at a penetrator and doesn't move or even raise his arm. Still Francis hurts the offense and defense so much with his awful team play. I was hopeful he'd be able to make the adjustment and be in the flow of the offense, but he CAN'T seem to do that. It seems he's NEVER learned the game in all these years.

stephon as the knicks starting pg

03/04 - 47 games, 25-22
04/05 - 82 games, 33-49
05/06 - 60 games, 18-42
06/07 - 68 games, 30-38

total: 257 games, 106-151 for a 0.412 winning %

i'll do marbury fans a solid and subtract off the larry brown season
he's 88-109 for a 0.446 winning %

Subtract 3 of the top 5 players from a team that's playing basically .500 ball, and they struggle to beat .400 teams. Doesn't sound too outlandish to me.

jc is not one of our top 5. he may play the most and shoot the most, but he is one of the worst shooters and defenders.
