Going off of tonight's game and tonight's game only I think the Knicks should S&T for Magloire this summer. Trade Curry to the Blazers for Magloire and their first rounder next yr. Give Magloire a 5yr deal $30-36mil. He'll be 33yrs old when the deal expires. Here's why I think this is a good idea.....

Magloire fg 5-9, 14pts, 16reb, 1blk 3TO's

Curry fg 4-11, 8pts, 4reb, 1ast, 2blks, 4TO's

Frontline

Magloire, Lee, Frye, Balkman

If Isiah trades Curry for Magloire, I will personally drive 5 hours to the city and protest.

Alright what if ISAYUGH can get no protection on the pick? Sweeten it up a little. Maybe even throw in a future second rounder in 09/10

Maybe his numbers would look better if he wasn't on such a young team. I'm looking at all aspects of the trade and what it would allow the team to do with who's currently here. It's just slightly above an MLE deal along with an unprotected pick and Curry off this team.

Ok, now I'm actually getting scared because you seem serious. As much as you hate Curry, you really would want Magloire? He's basically Nazr Mohammed, possibly worse.
No one tries to hide how bad Eddy's defense is, maybe you should consider who Magloire was scoring on.
By the same token, you might as well work a deal consisting of Marbury for Pargo.

If this could be done under the collective bargaining agreement I'd do it faster than the speed of light. That would be $20mil off the cap son and we could give the keys to Mardy, Crawford, or BUMCHISE. Take your pick. You're not looking at this from all sides of the Octagon.

Dude, you seem to have flown off the octagon a long time ago.

If you really think that we would be better off with Magloire then Curry, they you really do need help. It doesnt matter which multi-faceted shape you wish to view it through, the only point to your post was to maintain your high degree of dickheadedness. Congratulations. You have achieved your goal. Now heres a lovely white jacket to wear, and you can hug yourself all day long in it.

here's why i think that's a bad idea

Magloire season avgs: 5.8 ppg & 5.5 rpg in 19 mpg

you don't trade away Curry unless you're getting a young player w/star potential on the rise, or a star player in his prime... Magloire is neither... to give away Curry for Magloire after 1 game in which 1 played well & 1 played poorly is the same type of reasoning that possessed Isiah to sign Big Turd to that 5 year $30 million dollar contract... you have no idea what that pick will be like next season either... unless you were getting back POR's unprotected pick THIS season, there's no way i'd even consider that one.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Actually the man is a genius and his reasoning is awesome. Did you guys see Jorge Garbajosa outplay Carmello Anthony last night? Now if only Denver can get Toronto on the phone and convince them to take Carmello for Garbajosa then the Nuggets will probably win the West
